  This house was fabulous. This house is great for a large group. We went for a girls' weekend so having the 5 full bathrooms couldn't be better. The house is very well maintained and very clean and the beds are comfortable. The owners were very helpful and respond to all questions immediately. The hot tub is really wonderful and bigger than it looks in the pictures. It's a great house for off season with the amenities like the hot tub, firepit and fireplace. The location is great also. Sitting on the top porch for morning coffee with a view of the lake was so nice too. I just can't say enough great things about this house and highly recommend it.

  We had a wonderful week at the Crane beach house, with beach time every afternoon, and fun times at the outlet malls in the mornings. We had dinner at A Taste of Italy in Lewes one night, their homemade mozarella is fabulous! The home is beautiful with sweet antique touches here and there, and very comfortable for 3 couples in bedrooms with private bathrooms on the first floor, and upstairs one room with twin and trundle for our teen son, and one room with private bathroom and 1 twin and a full sized bed under another twin bunk for our 3 girl cousins, and the hallway/staircase room with a bathroom and two full sized beds arranged like a bunk bed for our 2 boy cousins. Grandma and Grandpa took the trundle room when a fourth couple joined us the last two days, and my teen son slept on the couch in the game room/carriage house which was fun for him. The hot tub with waterfall was fun for the kids, and don't forget the mosquito spray! We grilled two nights and enjoyed the hammock as well. Our dogs loved the fenced back yard, and the screened porches were perfect for sitting out on the cooler evenings. We fit 13 in the dining room with 10 around the table, and 2 at the bar, and 1 on an occasional table. The beach is a short 10 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride, or 2 min. drive if you just want to drop off your stuff. If you want to park either at the beach or beach house, you will need to purchase a parking pass, the house has two driveway parking spaces, so we purchased two parking passes for the other two cars we had there. Parking passes were $13/day. Much fun, laughter and love! We will be back to Rehoboth for certain!

  What a lovely cottage in a fabulous area. My husband and myself were joined by our adult children. They were able to invite a couple of friends and even bring our dogs. It truly was like being at home. We completely enjoyed the firepit, the hot tub, watching movies and playing games as well as grilling outdoors. Having the fenced in back yard made for extra privacy and we didn't have to worry about the dogs running away. The area was perfect. Just a short walk to the boardwalk, shops, restaurants and the beach. The neighborhood was beautiful. One block from the lake. We loved it and would definitely stay again. We could feel the care and importance the owners take in creating a great family environment and the beautiful memories they must have in their home. Now we feel like we have been a small part of it. Thank you for sharing.

  Dear Cindy and Tony, Thank you so much for making your beach house available to us. We had a really nice time. (My six-year-old loved it so much he cried when we left and rated the vacation a 37, 1 being "not fun" and 10 "being the most fun ever!")   We decided to take a trip down to Rehoboth to visit the Dogfish Head Brewpub and Breweries. Since my husband and I had adopted a dog not too long before, we wanted to take her with us. This trip could not have been better! The house is beautiful. From the front porch to the back yard, this house is lovely. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is perfect for preparing meals. The house's owners were really fantastic too. There was a miscommunication and our payment needed to be received within 48 hours! The owner's could not have been more patient with me and our week long vacation went off without a hitch. By far, this was one of the most relaxing vacations I've ever taken. Everything was a short walk or shorter drive away. The neighborhood is quiet but inviting. The restaurant recommendations the owners provided were outstanding. And our dog could not have had a better time!! She loved running through the backyard and investigating. We hope to return next year and would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you for a fantastic time and unforgettable memories!! Kathleen W.

  Our large group of friends & family (7 teenagers, 5 adults) had a wonderful time and plenty of room in this great house. The upper rooms were perfect for the kids and gave them their "own space". The location was great...easy walk to beach & town. The yard was spacious and the hot tub, fire pit, game house, swings & grill were used nightly. Cindy was easy to deal with and handled any & all questions promptly and courteously. This was truly the most personal of all rental homes I have been in...family photos & mementos fill the house & make you feel like you're visiting a friend's house not renting from a stranger. We'll definitely consider renting this property again for a large group.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

  ourhave just finished our fourth year of mid-summer weekly rentals at this fabulous beach house for our three-generation family. It feels like home. Wonderfully large and well-equipped, including fabulous air conditioning and beautiful bathrooms and a big back and side yard and two outdoor showers. The house is 2 1/2 blocks from the beach, an easy walk even for our 6 and 8 year old granddaughters. Also easy to walk to Lingo's where Bar-B-Q chicken makes an easy and delicious meal. Cindy is an extremely responsive "landlady," who is beginning to feel like a friend. We have already signed up for 2012 and are looking forward to our stay!

  My family (husband, son, and 2 daughters with their husbands) and I recently stayed at this idyllic house over Easter break. It was the perfect house to stay in with adult children, as almost every room had it's own private bath. We thoroughly enjoyed the location of the home, only a short walk to the boardwalk/beach and the main eateries on Rehoboth Avenue.The house was clean, well appointed, and capacious. The fireplace in the living room was perfect for the evenings as was the lovely outdoor jacuzzi. The owner provided outstanding customer service -- she was very prompt, efficient, and polite. Her recommendations for things to do and where to eat were spot on. It was evidenced that great care was taken with the property, with regular people coming in to maintain the jacuzzi and make sure everything was in order. We enjoyed the lovely weather, uncrowded beaches/boardwalk, and beautiful grounds and surrounding area (Silver Lake in all its beauty were just across the street). We hope to make this a yearly vacation spot.

  What a charming cottage in a great location! So close to the beach/downtown and in such a lovely neighborhood. We loved walking around with our dog looking at the different neighborhood architecture, strolling on the beach and walking downtown. This would be a great get away for a family or group of friends. The house is beautifully decorated, the bedrooms are large and lovely. The bathrooms have are nice with modern amenities. The screen porches are great gathering spots. We thoroughly enjoyed having our dog with us, and he enjoyed the property as well. Very quick responses from Cindy, as we booked this property only 36 hours before arriving! Don't be as last minute as us!

  We loved this property! A fenced in yard provides safekeeping for your pup while you enjoy this beautiful and charming home. Decorated with love, we felt immediately welcomed to this inviting and cozy beach home. The 3 bedrooms and baths on the main floor are fantastic, and the upstairs is perfect for kids of any age. You will love your stay -- and you will love the owners who are accessible and so gracious. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
