  I would just like to say that from the first call to the last email, the property owner makes renting this cabin very straightforward. Add to that a cabin which is appointed and maintianed so perfectly that my entire family was happy - from the kids to the in-laws. This place is great!!! I would gladly recommend this cabin to anyone. VERY CLEAN AND VERY WELL APPOINTED - the huge kitchen made for some great family meals while enjoying the warmth of the fire:)

  We recently stayed at this beautiful well-equipped home. There were ten adults and two teenagers. It had every amenity that you can imagine. The owners clearly take great pride to insure that their guests are more than comfortable. The lake was absolutely stunning and I would highly recommend renting a boat so that you can fully enjoy it. The location was somewhat remote but not too far from civilization (25 minutes to the grocery store, etc.). There were plenty of activities to do in the house or on the lake so there was really no reason to leave. If you like to catch fish, you may want to try a local river or a different part of the lake. The fish in the lake near the dock for this house are very smart. We purchased inflatable tubes for everyone in our party and spent quite a bit of time just floating on the lake - I highly recommend it. There was even an electric pump in the house so we were able to easily inflate the tubes. Great relaxing vacation...

  This vacation was one of our best. You name it, this house had it! The lake water was fabulous, and no boats or jet skies buzzing by all day was a plus. Exploring in the Kayak was so peaceful and beautiful! A little beach down across the way had visitor's mini contributions of art work made of sticks, rocks and sand. Delightful! We enjoyed nature all day, then enjoyed the high tech, fully equipped with anything you could think of, house at night. Movies, campfires, multiple games, chess on the porch, looking at the stars in the hot tub (which by the way was the cleanest hot tub I have ever seen). PLENTY to do just staying at the house. Massive amounts of room to have your own "space". Tubing with our 9 year-old son in Bryson at the National park for the day was a hit. We found the local's suggestion to use "J&J's" tubes where you help yourself and leave 4 dollars per tube in a box. Rafting for 1/2 day at NOC was also great. My dad's favorite part was teaching my husband how to fish for trout. This was a miracle since my husband never liked to fish. After their adventures in multiple local streams, they arrived at the house full of stories and beautiful rainbow trout for diner. My husband says he can't wait to do it again. Priceless. The owner was always available, extremely helpful and was a pleasure to interact with. The only thing we struggled with (because we were out of shape) was walking up and down the steep driveway to our van since you need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to park right at the house. Overall, this was one vacation that I didn't want to end. We still had so much places we wanted to explore, yet ran out of days. Would love to come back and enjoy it again!

  The house is well-appointed for a large group of people. We swam, fished, canoed, and went for walks around the lake. We could hear the waterfall but never found it. At night the stars were unbelievable! Local activities include the Joyce Kilmer Forest, gem mining, numerous waterfall hikes, Nantahala Outdoor Center, and much more. Everyone on our trip wanted to stay another week. The only drawbacks were no cell phone coverage (not just at this house but pretty much everywhere) and having to park at the top of the driveway (no 4wd on our minivan). Overall, our vacation was amazing and I am so glad we chose this house!

  My wife and I actually watched as this house was being built, then spent two wonderful summers there as guests once it was finished. One thing is certain, the owners paid attention to every detail you can imagine. It is paradise. Its hard to find a spot that can be both romantic and great for families. Lots of sports and activities including water skiing, swimming, kayaking, hiking, rafting, and jet sking. The lake is so clean and pure. Be sure to check out the secret waterfalls.

  We had a fabulous week! Not only did my child have a great time, but I did too. The house is gorgeous. Everything you see in the pictures is exactly as is seen in person. We spent the days at the lake enjoying the beautiful weather and then we would hit the jacuzzi on the deck and relax. Bbq for dinner and then make smores in the firepit at night (just like in the movies). We went out to dinner and the movies in the local town one night. One day we went to a trout farm and the kids went fishing and then we ate the trout for dinner. It reminded me of when I was a kid and would spend my summers at our lakehouse in upstate New York. It was like going home, but to a much nicer house, lol. This house and it's surrounding is a 10 out of 10.

  It was our first time visiting this area of the country. The Smokey Mountains! I can tell you it was one of the prettiest places I have been. This magnificent home was a perfect fit four our two families of four. On all three levels, there is at least one, very well appointed bedroom with an attached bathroom. The main level's gourmet kitchen, dining areas, living room and verandas are ample in size and have a view of the lovely lake. We hope to return again each summer!

  This is a spectacular home with every possible convenience. You can relax on the dock, hike the hills or take a short ride and go white water rafting. The setting is amazing, tranquil and beautiful. The house is impeccably kept and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property!
