Welcome and thank you for considering our vacation property. The Zephyr Mountain Lodge opened in 2000 and unlike any other property found in Winter Park it is truly ski-in/ski-out and is only 110 feet from the Zephyr lift. The condo is a first floor unit with a balcony that overlooks the Frasier Creek and faces the continental divide. It also is one of the only condos with 10 foot ceilings in the building which makes it feel a little bigger than it is. Like a hotel it is furnished with linens and bathroom supplies but like a condo it does not offer maid service.

The locals know why Winter Park is Colorado's favorite. Without a doubt once you visit Winter Park/Mary Jane you will not ski or ride anywhere else. With 12" more snow than Vail and 89" more snow that Keystone on average why fight I-70 traffic? I have personally been stuck on I-70 Sunday afternoon for 5 hours .. never again. More snow means more powder days and also means better conditions overall. The terrain is naturally divided making the Winter Park area a great place to learn to ski/ride and progress into a solid skier or rider. In addition to great family skiing on the Winter Park side, the Mary Jane side challenges even the most advanced skiers and riders.

Voted #1 bumps in North America for as long as I can remember, the Mary Jane side also offers great powder stashed tree runs, cliffs and steeps that will get your adrenaline pumping. Just ask a local riding up the Super Gauge Express, Challenger, or Iron Horse lifts for a few of his/her favorite lines. Without a doubt the Jane has its cult followers ... me being one of them.

Winter Park Resort is more than skiing and snowboarding. During summer, fall, and spring, it is a recreation wonderland with over 2500 acres of on-mountain trails. There's a reason Winter Park is called Mountain Bike Capital USA - in fact, there are 600 of them. With an astounding 600 miles of trails, many of them lift-accessible, there's simply no end to the fun you can get yourself into and to the gorgeous Rocky Mountain vistas you'll see along the way! There are lakes and streams that are ideal for boating, kayaking, and fly fishing. The Pole Creek Golf Course is a picturesque, eighteen-hole Championship Course and just fifteen miles away.

Did I mention it is only 110 feet from the lift? Which means while everyone else is on a bus to their condo in Winter Park or Frasier you will be enjoying a soak in the hot tub.

  • BEST EXPERIENCE WE'VE HAD WITH VRBO. This is a beautiful, well-appointed unit right at the base of the Zephyr lift, and the owner is super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He helped us save about $250 on lift tickets!!! We also saved a ton of money eating "in" because the unit is so convenient to the lifts/runs. We will definitely be back.

  • My wife and I had the honor of staying in this condo for our honeymoon. This place was fantastic! The condo is on the first floor of the Zephyr Mountain Lodge which I thought was very nice. It has a very pretty view from the balcony.

  • I did want to pass along what attracted us to place and why I rented is what the pictures showed in vrbo in terms of extras. The tile in the bathroom, the granite tile countertops, the decor of the place, etc. set it apart from any other offering out there. It made a difference and arriving and finding the place so clean and well-maintained truly was great....I stayed at a place in Keystone for a month last summer (same floor plan in fact) through a private owner and let's just say your place blew it away. We had a great time and Scott was great as was the property.

  • I read the comments from previos guest and realize we all seem to appreciate the same things: 1. The condo is clean 2. The condo is close to the lifts 3. The condo is updated 4. The condo has everything you need including some staples for cooking (salt, pepper, oil, butter -- this may change depending on the previous renter). 5. Scott was easy to work with. Other things we appreciated were: 6. We got the friendliest service from the front desk even though we were not renting through them. 7. The fireplace was great for thawing out after a few runs on the slopes. 8. We did a load of laundry each day. This kept our packing lighter. 9. Scott provided some helpful tips on the trails and dining. 10. My 8 year old slept on the couch bed and it was perfectly comfortable.

  • This condo is an awesome place to stay year after year. The condo is in great shape, and everything needed is provided, including free Internet access. The fact that the condo is located on the first floor is super because it provides quick access to the slopes (or underground parking garage) and it is really nice not to have to wait for an elevator.

  • This was our first experience renting through VRBO and we are hooked! There were several families in our party booking separately, and our experience with Scott was by far superior to any of the others in our group. Having seen several other units in the Zephyr during our stay, this one is the best-equipped and most updated. Scott was a pleasure to deal with and provided us with loads of information to help save us money. We highly recommend this unit and will be back!

  • The Zepher is the only place we will stay. It is very convient to the lifts shops etc especially if you have kids. Scott has been like a life long buddy the way he assisted me on ways to save money in Winter Park. I would recommend that if you are looking for a nice 1 bedroom look NO further this is it.

  • A really great place to stay, close to the Zephyr chair, you can go back to the condo and have lunch. Then ski all the way until 4pm. No driving afterwards, just a short walk over to the condo and you are relaxing from the day. Mornings are great too, have breakfast at 8am and you'll still be one of the first ones out on the slope.
