This condo was the perfect base for our February holiday. Everything was just how it was described. The beds was comfortable, the living room a good size and the fold-out bed was comfortable for children. The head of the bed sunk a bit into the couch, but we put kids at the other end and they slept like logs! And being on the 1st floor meant no waiting for the elevator, just steps from outside and easy access to the ski locker. Scott was very easy to work with. Before the trip, he provided us a very detailed outline of local activities, grocery locations, local restaurants and great places to rent ski equipment. He also provided us a couple of BOGO lift coupons that saved us $99/day on lift tickets. The location was great. Just out the back door of the resort was access to a Starbucks, the local Mercantile, many restaurants, fire pits and a really awesome ice castle the kids played at every night for hours. We ended up renting our ski equipment from Winter Park village which ended up being caddy-corner to the back-door of the result which was nice not to have to haul stuff in/out of cars. The village also provides many daily activities such as S'mores night, free ice skating lesson evening and others. If there is a timeframe for the activity, be there early. S'mores night was from 4-6pm and we arrived at 4:30--our kids getting the last two S'mores kits! The underground parking spot was very nice as well. No scraping, nice and warm and always found a spot right next to the door. Since we were not skilled skiers, we did not use the Zephyr lift-which is just outside the condo, but the Gemini lift is about a 10 minute walk with all ski equipment on and there are little red wagons available all over to haul equipment and kids at the end of a full day. You can't stay closer to either! And if you aren't skiing everyday, there are great activities within a 10 minute drive such as snowmobiling (actually 1 mile away) and tubing hills - close by in Fraser. All-in-all, this was a great condo in a great location with fantastic local amenities. We will be booking this room on our next trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed the days we spent at Winter Park. The condo was well-equipped and truly comfortable and quiet. We rented previously on the other side of the lodge and were awakened often by late-night grooming or early morning chimes. This condo was quiet with a nice view off the balcony. It is truly ski-in and ski-out. We ate lunch in the condo the second day, once we figured out how convenient it is to the slopes. The skiing is perfect, just the right level of difficulty for us flatlanders. There are a number of options for nice dinners in town. We had a nice Cajun dinner on our night out. Thanks for a great stay--we would like to come again!

We really enjoyed Scott's condo. He was very helpful beforehand giving us suggestions of places to eat and things to do. The condo was very clean and nicely furnished. Being located right at the base of the mountain was perfect. We were a little bummed because most of the runs on the mountain were closed, we have never skied this early in the season and weren't aware that most of the runs were not open. We did find other things to do though, we drove to Grand Lake and enjoyed walking through the little shops there and eating at Max & T's restaurant. If you get a chance to visit it, the food was awesome and they have tons of tasty martini's if you like. We also spent a day at the Hot Sulpher Springs Resort where they have 25 naturally fed hot pools. Very relaxing. We had a really nice dinner on Thanksgiving at Sunspot which was a fun experience. There is a gondola that picks you up at the Zephyr lift which is right outside the door of the lodge. This takes you up the mountain to the Sunspot Restaurant where we had a four course dinner that was delicious. I understand they have these dinners during the high season on the weekends but check with them for availability, they do take reservations only. We had a great time and Scott was very helpful with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Condo was great- equipped with everything- our teen girls even baked cookies one night! Lodge employees were also super friendly. Couldn't be a more convenient location! We would recommend this condo and super helpful owner! All the extra's - internet, TV with HBO, fully stocked kitchen, and the most comfy queen bed we've ever found in a rental made our vacation most enjoyable!

What a great place!!!! The condo was really nice & clean and had everything needed to help make a wonderful vacation. Everyone at the resort is so helpful and friendly, probably some of the nicest personnel I have ever experienced. Scott (owner) You totally ROCK! Thank you for all the helpful information on the resort and discount lift tickets. You went far beyond what any condo renter would normally do. When I come back to Winter park I would definatly rent from you again.

What can I say? It was great! Scott was very helpful. The location was wonderful. Right in the village close to everything. We took a break each day at lunch and were rested and ready for the afternoon. Very nice to have a place to relax and eat lunch and not worry about the crowds and noise at Snoasis or the Sun Spot. The condo was the perfect size for our family. Two adults and twin boys (7). Scott was very helpful and generous with discount lift tickets as well as being very helpful with what to do and where to go. I would rent from him again in a heartbeat.

Great unit in a very nice property. Great w/young kids. Ski school is a little bit of a walk from the Zephyr but big red wagons are available to load up your little ones & your gear - helps a lot. Loved not having to worry about parking, catching a shuttle, etc. Gave us extra time to hang out in the mini terrain park and play areas right outside in the village. I stayed warmed by the fireplace while keeping an eye on the kids. Used the hot tub also. The condo itself is very clean and maintained well. It is very cozy and not an inch of space is wasted. We maxed out w/ 2 adults and 2 kids - 7and 4. There's not much closet space or areas to hang clothes to 'air out'. So pack light and use the property's guest laundry room just down the hall ($1/load). Scott is fantastic and helped us w/a great deal on lift tix. I left a shirt there and he even mailed back to me!!!! Front desk was helpful. We really enjoyed our time in Winter Park and would recommend this unit!

Wonderful Lodge Unit! Great location. Very well kept and clean. It felt like it could be home. It is so nice to near the lifts and other activities. Recommend the Lime restaurant which is only a very short walking distance. Scott was very helpful on questions on the property and working with our stay. He provided good information in advance of our arrival. I hope to return next year! Thank you!

It was a pleasure dealing directly with Scott who is pleasant, responsive and very helpful. We would definitely recommend his condo to others going to Winter Park. The Gillespie's

BEST EXPERIENCE WE'VE HAD WITH VRBO. This is a beautiful, well-appointed unit right at the base of the Zephyr lift, and the owner is super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He helped us save about $250 on lift tickets!!! We also saved a ton of money eating "in" because the unit is so convenient to the lifts/runs. We will definitely be back.

I did want to pass along what attracted us to place and why I rented is what the pictures showed in vrbo in terms of extras. The tile in the bathroom, the granite tile countertops, the decor of the place, etc. set it apart from any other offering out there. It made a difference and arriving and finding the place so clean and well-maintained truly was great....I stayed at a place in Keystone for a month last summer (same floor plan in fact) through a private owner and let's just say your place blew it away. We had a great time and Scott was great as was the property.

I read the comments from previos guest and realize we all seem to appreciate the same things: 1. The condo is clean 2. The condo is close to the lifts 3. The condo is updated 4. The condo has everything you need including some staples for cooking (salt, pepper, oil, butter -- this may change depending on the previous renter). 5. Scott was easy to work with. Other things we appreciated were: 6. We got the friendliest service from the front desk even though we were not renting through them. 7. The fireplace was great for thawing out after a few runs on the slopes. 8. We did a load of laundry each day. This kept our packing lighter. 9. Scott provided some helpful tips on the trails and dining. 10. My 8 year old slept on the couch bed and it was perfectly comfortable.

This condo is an awesome place to stay year after year. The condo is in great shape, and everything needed is provided, including free Internet access. The fact that the condo is located on the first floor is super because it provides quick access to the slopes (or underground parking garage) and it is really nice not to have to wait for an elevator.

This was our first experience renting through VRBO and we are hooked! There were several families in our party booking separately, and our experience with Scott was by far superior to any of the others in our group. Having seen several other units in the Zephyr during our stay, this one is the best-equipped and most updated. Scott was a pleasure to deal with and provided us with loads of information to help save us money. We highly recommend this unit and will be back!

The Zepher is the only place we will stay. It is very convient to the lifts shops etc especially if you have kids. Scott has been like a life long buddy the way he assisted me on ways to save money in Winter Park. I would recommend that if you are looking for a nice 1 bedroom look NO further this is it.

A really great place to stay, close to the Zephyr chair, you can go back to the condo and have lunch. Then ski all the way until 4pm. No driving afterwards, just a short walk over to the condo and you are relaxing from the day. Mornings are great too, have breakfast at 8am and you'll still be one of the first ones out on the slope.

Add mine to the list of people recommending this unit. Between the comfort, convenience, and amenities, this is a great unit to rent. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. One of the nights we were looking for a nicer mountainesque place for dinner. We were referred to the Devil's Thumb Ranch. We arrived at twilight and enjoyed the ambience and dinner. Recommended.

STELLAR SERVICE, TURE SKI-IN/SKI-OUT! In 7 years of VRBO renting, I have never encountered such remarkable, intuitive and insightful help as I have in renting from Scott. I pursue exceptional ski condos and am willing to sacrifice some professional service for outstanding pricing. No compromises here. I am frankly, blown away. Rent this Winterpark condo and see for yourself. You CAN have it all! Superior pricing, outstanding service, and a beautiful unit. Enjoy true ski-in/ski-out convenience. Unit is on ground floor so there is NO waiting for elevators; however, you still get a great second story view! Condo is new, charming, clean and smartly outfitted. Throw in heated underground parking, a perfectly located ski locker, and, oh yes, awesome, diversified ski terrain. Halt your internet hunt! You have found your destination. Stop compromising. Put indulgence back in your vacation! Marci Veale, Greenville, SC
