Welcome to our Vacation Beach House (not on the beach - 3 blocks off). It's been totally remodeled and with almost 1200 sf, 3 bredrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dinning room, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry/utility room, you'll be all set to enjoy your vacation in a house that offers enough room to spread out and relax while not feeling cramped. We wanted this to feel like a "home away from home" and I think we've succeeded.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed along with an attached bath. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and the bunkroom is for the kids. It does have two additional, single matresses that we throw on the floor for those times when we have "extra" kids. I am not sure that happens to you, but it happens to us all the time!
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range/oven, microwave, sink, refrigerator (with ice maker and filtered water), and dishwasher. It also has pots/pans, baking dishes, waffle iron, hot skillet, crock pot, toaster, and coffee maker. We don't miss a beat when we cook in this kitchen and we're sure you won't either.
Our main living area was designed with an open feeling. The living room, dinning room, and kitchen all flow together but are also disticntly separate rooms. The living room has two large reclining leather couches that are very comfortable. I've fallen asleep in them more than once. The dinning room has a large table perfect for family meals and games. And our utility room has a washer and dryer for those times you get a little wetter at the beach than you had planned. . .
Outside, you'll find a large back deck and fire pit.

My wife, Tracy, and I have 4 kids. I work as a mortgage originator in Puyallup Wa. We've owned this home for a number of years and it's been a blessing in our lives. We thought it might be time to share a little of that with others.
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Park
We have a love for the water and the beach. The Long Beach Penninsula is very freindly and has such a unique personality. Plus, it's not far from Cannon Beach - for shopping or a day trip and Chinnook and Illwaco for fishing. It's a wonderful location. In addition, my family (mother, father, and two siblings) has been going down to the beach since before I was born. It's such a part of who I am and what I love.

Right in town. You can walk to everything you need and the beach! Very convenient.

Just returned from Labor Day weekend 2011. Shawn is very easy to deal with and hassle free. The house is updated and wide open areas make it easy to gather inside or outside. It is very close to shopping and markets and in a quiet area. It was our first time staying there and look forward to returning in the near future.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

First off, Shawn was so attentive and a wonderful owner to deal with in terms of answering questions etc. The photos of the property are very accurate and the home is just as described and seen in the photos. The house is very well equipped. We had a backyard fire and bbq and many good movie nights on the large comfy couch. The house was very clean and well maintained. There were no issues whilst we were there. Thanks for a great week at the beach! We had a fabulous time. The home is steps away from the little town. The grocery store is literally across the street. The walk to the beach is just about 4 blocks past some little restaurants and gift shops. Had a great visit to the art gallery that only carries local artists. Also, had the priviledge of watching one of the artists painting in the gallery. The knitting shop and cafe that is practially on the beach was a great place to visit too. Long Beach is a much bigger town, about 8 miles away. However, we loved staying in the 'small' town and visiting the 'big town'. Ocean Park was extremely quiet and we were glad to retreat to it in the evening. Cape Disappointment was a great day trip. Just a note, Washington State Parks now charge a fee as of July 1st. $10 day pass or $30 annual pass for all their major parks. We saw many people being ticketed for not buying their passes. You must stop at Scoopers in Long Beach for ice cream!

I have stayed at this place several times nd loved it. It is walking distance from beach access and a short drive from Long Beach. The house is cozy, with a fire pit in the back for Bon fires. Our family really enjoys staying here.
