Spend your days swimming and fishing off the dock, boating, or simply reading in the hammock. Look across the lake to the surrounding mountains for breathtaking views. There is a extra large, flat, sand area at the water's edge, great for relaxing in the sun or playing beach games.
Or, plan to take a thirty-minute drive to Mount Desert Island, home of world-famous Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Go hiking, biking, sightseeing, whale-watching, shopping, and much more. Discover all that this unique area has to offer. Located in the heart of down-east Maine, the cabin is also conveniently located thirty minutes from both Bangor International and Bar Harbor Airports.
The cabin was completely renovated in 2003 and now boasts a huge, custom-pine kitchen complete with a breakfast bar and all-new appliances, including dishwasher and garbage disposal. The open living and dining area has ample comfortable seating with two sleeper sofas and easy chair. It also has an extra large table, with, seating for 12, offering room enough for dining and game-playing to take place at the same time! No matter where you stand in the kitchen or living area, your treated to beautiful 180 degree views of the lake through large windows and two sliding glass doors that access the deck and covered porch (both of which have spectacular close-up views of the lake).
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and master bath with shower. The two other bedrooms each have full-size beds, and each have a separate, sliding-glass door onto the covered deck, again with spectacular views of the lake. Come and enjoy!! |
