This is a quiet, 15 unit WATERFRONT condo. Bring your kayak or smaller boat (must pass a bridge to get to Sarasota Bay and to the Gulf- Boat dock available on first-come first served basis) .

WALKING DISTANCE to MAIN STREET, MARINA JACK'S (both less than one mile away) as well as a host of CULTURAL AND DINING experiences. 6 PLEASANT MILES to #1 rated SIESTA beach, 4 miles to LIDO BEACH! (See map) Minutes to ST. ARMAND'S CIRCLE AND LONGBOAT KEY. Take a day trip to FORT MEYERS, NAPLES and other points south and north. 2 Bicycles here for your use.

There are 2 Master Bedrooms on the second floor, one with a shower and one with a tub/shower combination. There is a powder room on the first floor. Beautiful laminate floors in living/dining area, rugs in the bedrooms, tile in the kitchen and baths. Very clean, comfortable and attractive!

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the deck overlooking the pool and bayou! A PEACEFUL RETREAT, yet so close to everything!

                        We had an excellent rental experience at Hudson Oaks. The listing description accurately depicts this rental unit. The condo was clean and well maintained. Dan and Maureen were very helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs during our two month stay. The bicycles, beach chairs and umbrella provided truly enhanced our experience. The condo location is is convenient to all downtown Sarasota has to offer, and is an easy ten minute drive to Siesta Key Beach. St Armand's Circle is less than two miles from the condo. I would highly recommend this unit to those who want to experience all Saratoga has to offer.

                        Recommended for: Tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.

                        The condo is situated in a very charismatic, vintage and unique quarter of Sarasota. Kind of European small town feeling. Lots of artistic people live here. The marina, shops, the famous farmers market, Wholefoods, great restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The condo is super clean and well equipped in a quiet place with nice and friendly people. Could stay here forever!

                        Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

                        My wife and I stayed in this unit for the month of March 2012, could not possibly have been better. Every detail was taken care of, the location is perfect. Thanks for the excellent vacation experience.

                      About the owner: We are originally from the Philadelphia, Camden, Cherry Hill NJ area. Dan is a retired Police Captain from the City of Camden, Maureen ia a nurse. We moved to the Nature Coast of Florida in 2005, tired of the cold, snow and property taxes in NJ. We were looking for a vacation home with our friends from up North. We found the perfect one in Downtown Sarasota. We spend quite a bit of time down here (there's always something different to do) and our friends come down whenever they can. We decide to rent our condo out to help defray some of our costs, also to share our find with others.

                      Why the Owner Chose Hudson Oaks:
                      We STILL say that we can't believe we are so lucky to have our condo, which is near to (actually many within walking distance) so many cultural, shopping and dining experiences. The condo complex is on a 'dead end' street, we are on the Hudson Bayou, which leads directly to the Sarasota Bay and then the Gulf of Mexico. We have seen all sorts of fish, a manatee, different species of birds, etc, right from our back patio and on the deck by the pool.
