Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
My husband and I currently own and operate The Inn at Cascade, a southwestern adobe style bed and breakfast inn, located in the beautiful Pikes Peak region of Colorado. We purchased this 1929 historic home in early 2003 and lovingly converted it to a successful bed and breakfast inn offering three guest suites. Our guests enjoy the charm and character of staying in an adobe home with hand plastered walls, kiva fireplaces, log beam vigas and the original hardwood floors. They especially enjoy the private gourmet breakfast that is delivered to their suite each morning! We decided that adding a cabin for couples or families would be ideal for guests that were seeking the amenities and conveniences of a home away from home along with beautiful mountain views and proximity to the area's abundant activities. When we are not busy caring for our guests or managing the inn we love to travel, read and spend time hiking the many beautiful trails and open spaces in Colorado.
Why the Owner Chose Cascade
Cascade is an ideal location to serve as a home base while exploring the beautiful Pikes Peak region of Colorado, it's convenient to the area's abundant activities yet feels worlds away. Guests enjoy the feel of a small mountain community that is located just west of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs and east of Woodland Park. Cascade is also home of the Pikes Peak Highway, the road that travels to the summit of Pikes Peak and is host of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, the nation's second oldest Auto Race. Come experience Pikes Peak and see first hand why this majestic mountain was inspiration for the song "America the Beautiful".

You can easily fill a week with activities and sightseeing especially when you explore the nearby Mueller State Park, Cheyenne Mountain State Park or Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument...oh and don't forget to drive the scenic Gold Belt Tour!
