The signature split floor plan of The Moorings complex offers maximum privacy for each of the 2 bedrooms and 3-baths in this raised 1st floor end unit, which features less than a 2-minute walk to the beach and covered parking under the building.
Upon entering the tiled front foyer, two inner doors open to separate areas of the villa. On the right, door 83 opens to a second small foyer that provides access to a full bath, with a walk-in shower and stack washer/dryer, and then leads to the main living area. The galley-style kitchen features new cabinets, countertops, and appliances, as well as tile flooring and a large dining/serving counter with four stools that overlooks the living/dining area.
The formal dining area has a table with seating for six. The adjoining livingroom features a comfortable seating group with a sofa and two chairs, a Flat screen TV/VCR/DVD & CD system, a large sunny window wall, hard wood floors throughout the family area, and a slider door on each side of the room, which open to two separate balconies.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a Flat screen TV, a large side window, a slider door to one of the balconies, and a private bath.
Returning to the entry foyer, door 84 on the left leads to a spacious bedroom featuring two double beds, a flat screen TV, a slider door to the second balcony, and a private bath.
This unit comes with 1 hour of free tennis per day at Palmetto Dunes.
Palmetto Dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that reaches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under highway 278 that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina, shops, restaurants, and Mall.
The Moorings complex, within the Palmetto Dunes Resort, is very close to the beach and also features an on-site pool that is open April through September. The Moorings complex is not equipped with elevators. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.

The property was nicely updated and so close to the beach. The problems we had were there was an odor that eventually went away and it wasn't very clean. We stayed here March-April 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Almost everything worked flawlessly and would highly recommend the unit, our Corgi enjoyed her stay as well. The short short walk to the beach was a fabulous bonus for us. All essential appliances were there and worked fine. Excellent washer/dryer, garbage disposal, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and three flat screen TV's (CATV) plus AM/FM Stereo and DVD players. A selection of recent fiction and non-fiction books. Showers were also great. We will stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.
