  We really enjoyed our time at this Fitch Mountain Cabin! There was lots of nice outdoor space and every single window had trees and more trees to look at! It has a great location just a couple of minutes from the Healdsburg square. It was so quiet and so dark at night we really felt like we were out in the country even while having other homes close by. It is very private and has everything you need for a great visit to wine country! We found the owner to be very easy to work with and flexible as we arrived a day early and she graciously and quickly let us go in a day early...with additional payment, of course. The pictures accurately reflect the home and I would recommend it to friends. We especially loved the main entry level deck for our morning tea and an afternoon glass of wine. Don't miss Willi's Seafood in Healdsburg!!

  We stayed here with our 3-year old son for a week in August. It was a great location - an easy walk downhill to a private beach with calm waters for a toddler, with just some other locals around. We could lounge and watch folks go by on the Russian River while partaking ourselves with the water toys provided by the owner. The kitchen was well-equipped - we could whip up whatever we wanted each evening or grill and enjoy the deck. The washer/dryer on site was also fantastic. The upstairs master bedroom/suite felt like a hotel, with top-rate linens and a great king-size bed. The lower bedroom had its own bathroom, which makes this cozy cabin perfect for separate families. Our routine most days was: get up, eat breakfast, hang out at the beach, head back for lunch, nap, then head out for Healdsburg area wine tasting, and then come back for dinner and drinks. A perfect escape for young families or even older ones! We look forward to returning to escape the winter that is San Francisco's summer.

  What a nice place to come back to after a day of visiting wineries! I you like cabins, and the woods, you are sure to enjoy renting this one! The deck is spacious and a great place to end your day on enjoying a glass of wine. The living area is comfortable. Two nice bedrooms, each with their own bath. Just a quick walk, and your at the Russian River beach area. We had a great time and each evening enjoyed coming back to this Fitch Mountain Cabin. Good location too! We saved money and cooked on the barbeque for dinner. This place has it all and we loved it!
