Our villa is located high on the hillside with a breathtaking view of the sea. You will have at your disposal all of the necessary amenities for a perfect vacation-and more-a lovely garden with bougainvillea and oleander, a private pool and a covered terrace with an unobstructed view of the Baie of Flamands. Listen to the surf while enjoying meals on the terrace.
This comfortable, charming villa has three bedrooms all with king-size beds. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom with a very large shower and two sinks. The other two bedrooms, by the pool, can be converted to twin beds to accommodate all types of sleeping arrangements. There are 2 1/2 baths. The house can sleep six people privately and comfortably, yet just two will feel cozy as well. You have the entire villa to yourself whether you rent one, two or three bedrooms.
A delightful day on St. Barths begins with breakfast overlooking the sea, and continues with, a refreshing swim, aperitifs on the terrace, a wonderful dinner and a peaceful night's sleep in a comfortable, king-size bed. Villa Affriole provides all of the comforts of home and the luxury of a vacation in Paradise!
This open style villa is within walking distance of the spectacular white sands of Flamands Beach. Flamands Beach was rated the most beautiful beach in St. Barths by Conde Nast magazine.
St. Barths is a small island, 8 square miles. A short drive from the villa will take you to a delightful boulangerie for daily pastries and a fresh baguette. Within ten minutes you can be in Gustavia with its fashion boutiques, art galleries, wonderful restaurants and the beautiful harbor. A stroll along the quai at sunset is a sheer delight.
For those who feel the need to stay in touch, the villa is now WiFi equipped.

We live in Atlanta, Georgia and love to travel. I had planned on visiting every Caribbean Island but then I went to St. Barths and realized that I didn't need to go to any other island.
Why the Owner Chose Flamands
Like many people, we fell in love with St. Barth's on our very first trip and were drawn back time after time. Our dream was to own a home here and the dream came true in 2001. We rented many different villas over the years and I knew that I wanted to be close to Gustavia and have a beautiful view of the sea, this villa fulfilled all of my dreams.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
A perfect day in St. Barth's is to wake up to beautiful sunshine, go to the boulangerie for breakfast pastries and a baguette. Then spend some time at the beach, have a great lunch at Andy's or Saladarie, spend some time resting and reading on the terrace. Maybe go in to Gustavia to shop and walk around the harbor, then its time for wine and cheese on the terrace. In the evening we either go to one of favorite restaurants, like The Palace or Kife Massai or we also love to eat at home. I love to cook and I enjoy going to the butcher shop in St. Jean and fixing a great meal at home.

From the guestbook...It has been absolutely perfect here at Villa Affriole. The view is breathtaking. We will miss our morning walk on the beach. We could not have had a more perfect place to spend our 20th anniversary. St. Barths will live on in our heart and soul. Thank you so much for your patience in all my questions prior to our arrival. It saddens me to have to leave Paradise behind - but joyful in knowing that I'm sure we will return.

We loved every second of being there in Villa Affriole - the house, the totally cool location, the Island, the shower in the bathrooms, the views, the kitchen, The Porch, especially the super "plunge" Pool, the living spaces, the beaches, the yummy Bakery, all of the restaurants, the so well written & helpful tips & notes on the house, the Island, etc. The people, the food, the water, the sea, the swimming, the ambience of the Island and Villa Affriole, working with Nancy at Maurice Car Rental, and seeing all of the slender people on the Island, ETC. was wonderful! It is a joy to notice that these owners of Villa Affriole love St Barth's and take beautiful care of their special Villa Affriole! Thank you!

Our week at Villa Affriole was a fantastic experience (beautiful views, delicious food, unique beaches and engaging people!) St. Barths is the most relaxing vacation that we have taken and staying at the villa was the perfect retreat. While we had a number of great adventures during our stay, we especially loved the fashion show/dinner at the hotel on Flamands Beach, the hike to Columbier beach and two meals at Santa Fe restaurant in Lurin! All in all it was a great week and we can't wait to get back!

Now I know how falling in ove with this beautiful paradise happened at first sight. What a magical place. Of course, staying in a beautiful villa and experience it with your best friends just adds to the experience. From the many beaches to afternoons in the pool and little "cat" naps to magnificent foods, I experiened it all!!

Just returned last night from another great trip to St Barths. As always, the villa was perfect. Kathy and you make it so comfortable for everyone that comes for a visit. OMG!!!!!! We are in love with your villa and St Barths and hope to reserve again for next year! We are sitting here on our last evening in your wonderful living room enjoying & taking in the wonderful island air as well as gazing at all the wonderful purchases we made today in Gustavia. This has truely been our best vacation ever. We just can't believe the view from every point on the island ... every turn we took and hill we would go down or come over was breathtaking. As soon as we got here we were seduced by this island of paradise and tuned the rest of the world out. We fell in love with Gouverneur Beach and spent all of our days there. The maid service was great. Is there any place on earth prettier than here....
