Ooh la la! We had the most amazing spring break vacation at your lovely villa. This was our fifth trip to St. Barts, but our first with our kids and your comfortable home suited us perfectly. So many of the villas have their bedrooms secluded from each other for privacy, but I would be so uneasy having my kids so far away from us during the night in an unfamiliar place....yours were just right. We had beautiful weather the entire trip...a little on the windy side, but otherwise perfect. We went to the bakery every day for breakfast and then enjoyed our bounty while taking in the gorgeous view from your terrace. We also tried Les Bananiers for first time and discovered pizza that rivaled that of The Hideaway! Yummy and affordable too! It was so nice having beach chairs and a cooler so that we could take in some of the more remote beaches such as Gouveneur, Columbier and Saline. The screens on your home were a huge bonus at night so that we could listen to the waves crashing on the beach without having to worry about the mosquitoes, for which I am a magnet! You are so lucky to have such a perfect home in THE perfect place. Thank you for sharing it with us for one week of pure bliss! Wish we could have stayed indefinitely!!!! Merci beaucoup! We loved every second of being there in Villa Affriole - the house, the totally cool location, the Island, the shower in the bathrooms, the views, the kitchen, The Porch, especially the super "plunge" Pool, the living spaces, the beaches, the yummy Bakery, all of the restaurants, the so well written & helpful tips & notes on the house, the Island, etc. The people, the food, the water, the sea, the swimming, the ambience of the Island and Villa Affriole, working with Nancy at Maurice Car Rental, and seeing all of the slender people on the Island, ETC. was wonderful! It is a joy to notice that these owners of Villa Affriole love St Barth's and take beautiful care of their special Villa Affriole! Thank you!

Our week at Villa Affriole was a fantastic experience (beautiful views, delicious food, unique beaches and engaging people!) St. Barths is the most relaxing vacation that we have taken and staying at the villa was the perfect retreat. While we had a number of great adventures during our stay, we especially loved the fashion show/dinner at the hotel on Flamands Beach, the hike to Columbier beach and two meals at Santa Fe restaurant in Lurin! All in all it was a great week and we can't wait to get back!

From the guestbook...It has been absolutely perfect here at Villa Affriole. The view is breathtaking. We will miss our morning walk on the beach. We could not have had a more perfect place to spend our 20th anniversary. St. Barths will live on in our heart and soul. Thank you so much for your patience in all my questions prior to our arrival. It saddens me to have to leave Paradise behind - but joyful in knowing that I'm sure we will return.

We had the most wonderful time in St. Barths...the villa was amazing and in the BEST location ever! Close to the best beach, town, fabulous bakery, airport, St. Jean.... Lovely furnishings....perfect size....just wonderful...hated to leave! Owners and service professionals very helpful. Can't wait to go back and stay here!

Just returned last night from another great trip to St Barths. As always, the villa was perfect. Kathy and you make it so comfortable for everyone that comes for a visit. It was fun to show my new son-in-law around the island. He said it was his best vacation ever. Thanks again for everything you do to make it a wonderful vacation.

Now I know how falling in ove with this beautiful paradise happened at first sight. What a magical place. Of course, staying in a beautiful villa and experience it with your best friends just adds to the experience. From the many beaches to afternoons in the pool and little "cat" naps to magnificent foods, I experiened it all!!

OMG!!!!!! We are in love with your villa and St Barths and hope to reserve again for next year! We are sitting here on our last evening in your wonderful living room enjoying & taking in the wonderful island air as well as gazing at all the wonderful purchases we made today in Gustavia. This has truely been our best vacation ever. We just can't believe the view from every point on the island ... every turn we took and hill we would go down or come over was breathtaking. As soon as we got here we were seduced by this island of paradise and tuned the rest of the world out. We fell in love with Gouverneur Beach and spent all of our days there. The maid service was great. Is there any place on earth prettier than here....

We had a wonderful trip! It did actually rain about 3 days. One of the shop keepers said she had lived there for 14 years and had never seen it rain like it did. We actually walked on the beach in the rain one day as it was so warm. That was another thing that was unusual that it was so hot and humid at night with no sea breeze. So we shopped on the rainy days and took advantage of the sunny days at the beach. Even with the rain it was fantastic. We really appreciated your suggestion of places to eat and tried a few we had never been to before. We were not disappointed. Your place is just great and very comfortable. We had every thing we needed and it felt just like home. Karine could not have been nicer or more helpful and Margarite did a great job of cleaning. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your place and we will certainly call you in the future when we bring the whole family to St. Barths. It's our favorite place in the whole world as I'm sure it is yours. Thanks again so much!

Doug and Kathy have done a great job with this villa. It has a very nice view of Flamands. It worked very well for our family of four I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit St Barths. A trip to St. Barths is a trip to paradise, and Villa Affriole was part of that paradise. The view from the porch is fantastic - a perfect view of the bluest sea you've ever seen! We were there in early June, but the cross breezes that this home gets made it very comfortable - I was really amazed! The villa is also very well located - a quick walk to Flamands beach, or for lunch or the spa at Ile de France; 5 minute drive to St. Jean for fabulous food, beaches, and shopping; 5 minutes to Gustavia. A perfect place for a perfect island.

We've been to St. Barths many times, but this last trip to Villa Affriole was the best! We spent mornings at one of the glorious beaches, then got lunch from the bakery near the villa and ate on the terrace with its beautiful view. A dip in the pool was the perfect way to finish up the afternoon! The villa's location is great for a sunset visit to Flamands beach or a quick drive to either Gustavia or St. Jean for dinner at one of the island's many fabulous restaurants. Villa Affriole was comfortable for our family of four, beautifully decorated and well maintained by a friendly, courteous staff. We can't wait to go back!

Villa Affriole and St. Barth-What a great place to visit ! We've been twice and looking forward to visit #3. A beautiful island with wonderful people, its safe and so enjoyable. One gets the feeling that this is about as close to Paradise as you can get on this earth !!!
