Enjoy your morning coffee from the hot tub, with a sunrise over the Grand Tetons, just twenty minutes from Grand Targhee Resort, a very family friendly ski resort, opening is the day after Thanksgiving this year.
Cross-country skiing out the back door of Teton Hideaway, or a ten minute drive to Teton Canyon, groomed for skate skiing.
In the summer, enjoy hot air ballooning, mountain bike riding, hiking and fishing; just a few of the offerings that a Teton vacation offers to you!
Our home has over 4000 square feet, with separate family room, living room, three bedrooms, and den converted to bedroom, three full bathrooms. It is located in a very private subdivision, with only three other homes within a forty acre parcel. Mountain views encircle us, with the Tetons to the east and the Big Hole Mountains to the west, and the Snake River Range to the south. Equal distance to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, a ninety minute drive to the north, or the entrance to Teton National Park at Moose, Wyoming to the east, via Teton Valley, Idaho.

If you have kids or just want a wonderful spot to vacation, this is the spot. We thought the house was oddly configured when we first arrived, but then we realized that it is very functional and comfortable. The two houses provided plenty of space for our family of 9 (including 4 kids under 10) and the grandparents really enjoyed the separation of the two houses. Fresh raspberries outside the door (we made a cobbler) and the in-ground trampoline were a couple of the highlights. It was close to Grand Targhee and Teton Canyon for hikes and activities, but not too far from Driggs to get everything you may need. The owners were great and very helpful with all of our needs. We will certainly be recommending this place to anybody who wants a wonderful mountain vacation spot in the winter or summer. The house was clean and in great shape when we arrived, the hot tub was hot, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Thanks!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I have lived in Teton Valley for over thirty years, and I have stayed because there is no place on Earth like Alta, Wyoming!
Why the Owner Chose Alta:
I wanted my children to be able to attend the local elementary school, which all three of them were able to do, and to be close to Grand Targhee, to enjoy the skiing!
