This cabin is simply awesome. We have been coming to Big Bear to ski for the last few years and this place is head and shoulders above the various hotels, so called resorts, and over promised private rentals. It was just my wife and I and our two kids, so it was a bit more house than we needed, but worth every penny. Our family had just as much fun at the cabin as we did on the slopes. The cabin is located just around the corner from Snow Summit (2 minutes by car) or take a quick walk to the shuttle pickup if you don't want to deal with the parking lot. This home is very clean and loaded with ammenities. The rooms are spacious and the house is very well stocked with everyting you need from basic toiletries to cooking utensils to towels and bedding etc... During our stay, we received a foot of snow overnight and our kids had a ball in and around the house until the snowplow came through the neighborhood to clear the streets. The owner was on top of things and had someone out to clear the driveway and the walkway to the front door. Being able to keep our vehicle in a garage was a huge plus and our kids loved the fooseball table, pool-table and all the board games. All and all, I can't say enough good things about this cabin and our family looks forward to staying there again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We loved staying in this beautiful and comfortable home! It was well-equipped for our entire family: grandparents, parents and grandchildren. There are toys and games for children of all ages and gender. The location is perfect and convenient to everything: skiing, shopping, boating. It exceeded our expections and we felt it was just a family loaning us their home for a few days - welcoming, homey and in a great neighborhood. We were there for skiing, but thought it would be just as enjoyable in the summer. We want to go back!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is so much more than a "cabin", such a gorgeous, perfect, convenient home. We had 3 families stay for the weekend, and had more than enough sleeping room. The house is stocked with toys and activities that kept my kids busy, we didn't have to bring anything along to entertain them. We were able to park our truck in the garage to keep it warm, which was a huge benefit. Best part - it's just minutes away from the shuttle to Snow Summit, no need to deal with the parking! Can't wait to stay there again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We've stayed at cabins in Big Bear before and have generally been let down by the condition of the homes. Not this time. This house is exactly as advertised and was absolutely perfect for our group. We had 4 adults and 5 kids in our group and there was more than enough room for all of us. The floor plan is great and everything in the house... worked! The kids found plenty to do with all the toys, games and books that were there at the house. We kept the wood burning stove in the kitchen burning every morning & night which made things very cozy. Our kids enjoyed sleeping on the bunk beds and we were treated to the spacious master bedroom. We had no problems with noise and everyone slept soundly. The house is cute and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable there throughout our stay. The location couldn't be more convenient. It is located on a quiet street just off the main road and close to both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Anything we needed was close by. My 5 & 7 year old girls spent 2 full days learning to ski at Bear Mountain and we spent another day on a tubing hill and the alpine slide track. We also spent an afternoon walking through the village and exploring the local shops. There are 2 grocery stores close by and it was easy to cook in the fully stocked kitchen. We also we ate out a couple nights at 2 fun nearby restaurants. We really had no complaints. This was the best trip we've had to Big Bear and we will definitely be coming back to this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

There were 6 adults and 5 children in the cabin for 3 nights. All enjoyed the experience. The amenities were great; The kitchen was excellent for preparing meals and the metal wooden heater in the kitchen area was a great touch. The home was 2 blocks from the lifts. the home itself was kept in excellent condition and everthing seemed new. Will look forward to renting again in the near future.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
