This Cape Cod-style home is located in the quiet community of
Lakebay, just one cove north of beautiful Penrose State Park. This
warm and cozy beach house has all the creature comforts including three comfortable bedrooms and an office/den. The master bedroom
features a queen size bed with down/feather bed,, sitting area, gas fireplace, and private balcony. The gourmet kitchen is fully provisioned so you don't need to bring dishes,spices,condiments,basic foods for baking or cooking utensils. The spacious living room and dining room are great for entertaining. The large deck and patio has a gas barbeque, nice patio furniture and three Adirondack chairs. Surround yourself with music with the indoor/ outdoor stereo. The sandy beach is only a few steps away down an easy graded walkway. During Spring,enjoy the many tulips in the gardens near the water.
Children and young adults will love playing and swimming in the warm sheltered waters in front of the home. You can launch your boat at a public ramp located close by, so bring your ski boat and jet skis.
3 sea kayaks with life jackets provided for use on the quiet waters in Von Geldern Cove.

Excellent place for all 8 of us, aged 2 to 68! Extremely well-stocked kitchen, roomy family areas, plenty of clamming, kayaking, beach fun, with firepit on the beach for s'mores! Highly recommend for all ages. Wonderful little winery and state park minutes from the house, too.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, age 55+.

Twice a year we get our whole family together (mom, dad, college age kids and married kids with their kids) and go to a destination for some quality family time. This vacation home suited our needs perfectly! It was open and roomy on the main living level and plenty of room outside for memory making. We were able to bring our boat and have access to it from the home which made it nice to spend time on the water fishing and crabbing. We also enjoyed the kayaks that the owners have available for others to try out. It is located in a beautiful area with a lot of water frontage for the little ones to play safely. We definitely recommend this home and will be back in the future.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
