At the end of a long winding drive this stunning post modern home is situated on one and a half private and wooded acres surrounded by a 20 acre reserve. The home is beautifully decorated but at the same time is very relaxed and comfortable. The living room has a double height ceiling with towering windows that make the entire house light and bright. It includes a working fireplace and high end stereo system. The den is airy, comfortable and comes with a large screen rear projection television with cable and DVD player.
The eat in kitchen is large, open and comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. It flows effortlessly into the living area and through French doors to the formal dining room. There are two large master bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. The upstairs master has a king size bed with wrought iron head board, walk in closet and double sink bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The downstairs master has a queen bed with full bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs with queen and full beds that share a full bathroom.
Outside- a large cedar deck overlooks the 20 by 40 heated pool (with or without child safety fence), which is accessed through sliding doors off both the living room and den. The professionally landscaped gardens and lawn are colorful, lush and on an automatic irrigation system. The surrounding woods are filled with oak, white pine, cedar and wild dogwood. It is not uncommon to catch a glimpse of exciting local wildlife such as deer, red fox, wild turkey, owls, hawks and pheasant.
The location of the house is ideal for taking advantage of all the recreational activities the Hamptons has to offer. The bay beaches are within walking distance as are the numerous hiking, biking and jogging trails. The area's famous ocean beaches are only 10-15 minutes by car, as are the scenic towns of East Hampton, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor. Each has it's own unique charm and apppeal, offering an exciting variety of shops, restaurants, antique stores, wineries, museums and historical sites.
