Sprecks Planatation House is located on the north shore of Maui and half way between the town center of Paia and the airport. Ten minutes in either direction. Just off the Hana Hwy. Great location for windsurfers, kiters, surfers etc. Handy location with a 10-minute drive to kite surfing at Kanaha beach park. Newly updated this studio is 210 sq ft. and features granite countertops along with a built in granite 'island' , we refer to this unit as the 'Bamboo Studio' It also features an outdoor shower (very private). There are four separate units available so if this unit is booked or you have friends/family looking to join you you should inquire about the availability of our other units at Sprecks Planation House. High speed wifi as well as HD satellite TV.

My girlfriend and I just stayed at the Sprecks Plantation House for two weeks. It was in a great location if you are a kitesurfer, as you could bike to Kite Beach or a short drive into the town of Paia. The place was new, nice, and modern, but also had tons of "Hawaii Character." I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking to stay in the Paia area on Maui. We will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About: When not in Maui we can be found in our home town of Vancouver, BC. Great love of the natural beauty and the amazing outdoor lifestyles of Maui bring us here every year for longer and longer stays.
Why Paia:
The towering Banyan tree in the front yard was all it took for my wife to know this was where she wanted to be. An avid tree climber she spends many afternoon nestled in the sweeping branches of this grand and exotic tree. While she may be up the tree I can usually be found at kite beach. If you have never kited Maui you have no idea of how spoiled you can be. Warm water, constant trade winds, and at times, world class waves is what this place offers.
The Unique Benefits at this Studio:
Quiet location (except for the airplanes from the nearby airport). Easy access to kite beach as you do not need to drive through Paia to get to the house. Property is very tropical with an 80 foot Banyan tree, a large mango tree and other lush greenery surrounding the property. Easy parking as it is a street with very few homes. Great neighbourhood for taking walks and the beach is in reasonable walking distance. Public access to beach is a 15 minute walk.
