Beautiful southwestern home in a great location. Easy access to golf, hiking, shopping. Quiet neighborhood. Nice pool and hot tub. Two living rooms with plenty of space. We had never been in southern New Mexico and found the weather in mid to late March quite nice- 65 to 75 with gentle breezes. Would recommend this home to anyone, older people as younger couples with children. Property manager Amanda was very helpful.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We debated about getting a motel for our stay in Las Cruces but when family agreed to meet us there for the holiday we booked this vacation home instead. I was able to put a full Thanksgiving spread on the table thanks to the fully stocked kitchen and more than comfortable and adequate space. The owner and her property manager were more than helpful when we considered trying to pull this off and recommended the closest grocery store and provided all the information we needed to work it out. The weather was gorgeous and all the outdoor space was put to great use during our stay! Thanks Connie and Amanda! If we ever get back to Las Cruces we will definately look you up again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a wonderful home. If you're looking for a nice big family vacation rental - this is it. We stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave. It was perfect. The house has everything you'd need to feel at home. Plenty of space, great stocked kitchen, laundry (with soap!), garage, pool, spa, outdoor eating and lounging areas, A/C, comfy beds, lots of towels, and a nice big dinning room table for big family dinners. (Witch we had many of! All out in town family ended up coming to our place to visit!) The house is very clean and well kept. Nothing to complain about there. In fact....the only complaint we had regarding the broken pool heater was fixed with a simple phone call. Everything was tended to and anything we needed was almost instantly delivered. (They have a playstation that was missing a cable - within hours, we were brought a cable and the issue was resolved) Kudos to Connie and of course Amanda for tending to their guests needs. Great location, safe, quiet and beautiful landscape. We will be back and can't wait! Thank you so much for sharing your home Connie.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed the week for our daughters wedding. The parents along with the wedding party (9 of us) had a wonderful, comfortable week. I just wish we would have had more time to "relax" at the house. Such great ammenities. Everything in the kitchen was clearly labled, plasticware for outdoors, great bbq. The furniture was beaautiful, and best... beds were very comfortable! Amanda (property mgr.) was there for anything we needed. Thank you Connie for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.. and that great bottle of wine!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our group of 8 adults rented the home from 9/3/12 > 9/9/12. The home was well located and well furnished. It was in excellent condition. The kitchen was well equipped and labeled for ease of finding the items we needed. The landscaping was perfect and the hot tub and pool added enjoyment. The listing was accurate, although we interpreted 2 bunk beds to mean 2 bunks, each with 2 beds so that we could sleep 4 in individual beds that room. The accurate interpretation would have been that there were 2 beds and we could sleep 2 in that room. The owner was a model landlord. The rental agreement was straight forward and the security deposit was refunded promptly. We were running our jeeps on the local trails which resulted in our meeting a host of folks. All were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in Las Cruces. We would recommend this property to others, and if you are interested in off road activity or great Mexican food, this is the place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband and I rented this home for a family reunion of sorts. His sons met us there, and his extended family, who are from Las Cruces, visited everyday. it was perfect for us. An incredible amount of space, beautiful and comfortable furniture and bedrooms, and the pool was exactly what we were hoping for. Sonoma Ranch is wonderful and conveniently located. We had a great time, and would definately stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: I live 10 miles north of Boston in Saugus, MA and until recently I owned and managed a data center processing for financial institutions in Waltham, MA called CUOL. It was just sold to Fiserv in March 2011. I am now working with my best and largest client RTN Federal Credit Union. I have been very blessed with good health, a wonderful family and good friends and the opportunity to have traveled extensively all over the world & the US.
Why the Owner Chose Las Cruces:
My very good friend and her husband retired in Las Cruces about 5 years ago and on occasion I would come and visit. I fell in love with the mountains and the area. One visit I noticed many beautiful homes for sale and made another trip to look at property to purchase for a vacation rental. I purchased this home because I fell in love with the house and what I could turn the house into for your enjoyment. It is far from a typical rental, it is my home complete with what I want it to include, not what most short term renters would ever expect. I hope you will feel the way I do about the home and enjoy your stay should you decide to rent.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
When I go on vacation I want to be pampered, don't you? Huge California King Beds, luxurious bedding, plush pillows, comfortable bathrooms with plenty of plush towels, plenty of walk in closet space and hangers. Plenty of warm sunshine, and places to sit and enjoy it and the view of the mountains. House large enough with getaway places to sit, sip coffee, and or read a book. Breathtaking views of the Organ Mountains, from the Living room, Great room, pool, Jacuzzi, or patio. Plenty of pool towels and floats. Comfortable lounge chairs and tables to sit and relax by the pool or patio. Whether you like to be out all day taking in the sites, or veg’ing out enjoying all the amenities included in this home, this is a perfect vacation home to rent. Young or mature, singles or families the home and area has plenty to enjoy. It is also perfect for those big holiday get-to-gethers. A kitchen complete for the 'chef' in the group, whether it is a big meal, snack or large or small cocktail party. Separate sets of dishes and glasses whether it is for your daily, patio, pool or formal dining pleasure.
