This home was beautiful and furnished with wonderful top-of-the-line furniture. We enjoyred the hot tub and pool also. Very, very comfy and lovely. Would like to live there permanently!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family was very impressed with our stay here. The home was beautiful, well organized and carefully maintained. The weather was perfect every day and the pool and hot tub were clean and maintained very well. We hope to be able to rent again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Beautiful southwestern home in a great location. Easy access to golf, hiking, shopping. Quiet neighborhood. Nice pool and hot tub. Two living rooms with plenty of space. We had never been in southern New Mexico and found the weather in mid to late March quite nice- 65 to 75 with gentle breezes. Would recommend this home to anyone, older people as younger couples with children. Property manager Amanda was very helpful.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We debated about getting a motel for our stay in Las Cruces but when family agreed to meet us there for the holiday we booked this vacation home instead. I was able to put a full Thanksgiving spread on the table thanks to the fully stocked kitchen and more than comfortable and adequate space. The owner and her property manager were more than helpful when we considered trying to pull this off and recommended the closest grocery store and provided all the information we needed to work it out. The weather was gorgeous and all the outdoor space was put to great use during our stay! Thanks Connie and Amanda! If we ever get back to Las Cruces we will definately look you up again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful home. If you're looking for a nice big family vacation rental - this is it. We stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave. It was perfect. The house has everything you'd need to feel at home. Plenty of space, great stocked kitchen, laundry (with soap!), garage, pool, spa, outdoor eating and lounging areas, A/C, comfy beds, lots of towels, and a nice big dinning room table for big family dinners. (Witch we had many of! All out in town family ended up coming to our place to visit!) The house is very clean and well kept. Nothing to complain about there. In fact....the only complaint we had regarding the broken pool heater was fixed with a simple phone call. Everything was tended to and anything we needed was almost instantly delivered. (They have a playstation that was missing a cable - within hours, we were brought a cable and the issue was resolved) Kudos to Connie and of course Amanda for tending to their guests needs. Great location, safe, quiet and beautiful landscape. We will be back and can't wait! We stayed the week for our daughters wedding. The parents along with the wedding party (9 of us) had a wonderful, comfortable week. I just wish we would have had more time to "relax" at the house. Such great ammenities. Everything in the kitchen was clearly labled, plasticware for outdoors, great bbq. The furniture was beaautiful, and best... beds were very comfortable! Amanda (property mgr.) was there for anything we needed. Thank you Connie for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.. and that great bottle of wine!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our group of 8 adults rented the home from 9/3/12 > 9/9/12. The home was well located and well furnished. It was in excellent condition. The kitchen was well equipped and labeled for ease of finding the items we needed. The landscaping was perfect and the hot tub and pool added enjoyment. The listing was accurate, although we interpreted 2 bunk beds to mean 2 bunks, each with 2 beds so that we could sleep 4 in individual beds that room. The accurate interpretation would have been that there were 2 beds and we could sleep 2 in that room. The owner was a model landlord. The rental agreement was straight forward and the security deposit was refunded promptly. We were running our jeeps on the local trails which resulted in our meeting a host of folks. All were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in Las Cruces. We would recommend this property to others, and if you are interested in off road activity or great Mexican food, this is the place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I rented this home for a family reunion of sorts. His sons met us there, and his extended family, who are from Las Cruces, visited everyday. it was perfect for us. An incredible amount of space, beautiful and comfortable furniture and bedrooms, and the pool was exactly what we were hoping for. Sonoma Ranch is wonderful and conveniently located. We had a great time, and would definately stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

One issue that was not spelled out in the contract was if the trash collection agency does not-- for whatever reason remove the trash--it will cost the renter to have it removed. We filled up the trash receptacle and put out the trash at the appropriate time and place, along with two more garbage bags of trash. We placed the receptacle and two trash bags at the appropriate place, on the appropriate day. The collection agency took the bags, but for reasons only known to them, did not empty the receptacle. Consequently, the owner needed to dispose of the trash before the next renter and charged us a sizeable amount to remove it. This we did not know until over a week later. Had I known at the time we would be charged such a sizeable amount for failure of the garbage company to remove it, I would have boxed it up and taken it with me! Also, I would recommend taking fans. The owner does not want the air conditioning lower than 75 degrees, and our guests complained it was hot at night, so we purchased 4 floor fans. Lovely house, but know before going in the collection agency may have other requirements for trash removal than those listed in the contract. And, especially in the summer, take fans.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: It is quite sad that from time to time not everyone can have a perfect vacation and it is our intent that each one is perfect. Garbage placed in a recycle bin vs a garbage bin unfortunately will not get collected. A/C units at 75 can be lowered especially during the hotter weather. I have a very competent property manager on call 24/7 and any issue including these could have immediately been resolved with one phone call. The cost to remove the garbage before the next rental and the next garbage pickup was $75.00 plus tax.

Staying in this home was like staying in a 5 star hotel. The furniture was gorgeous and the accommodations were fantastic. The owner has thought out almost every single detail of how to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Her attention to detail is impressive, down to the a humidifier offered in every room if desired (since the climate is so dry in Las Cruces.) We have a 6 year old and 22 month old girls and they LOVED the house. Our 22 month old walked around the entire backyard all on her own everyday and we felt very comfortable letting her explore since the pool had a gate around it. Our girls absolutely loved the house and so did we. We spent Easter weekend there and the setting for Easter Sunday couldn't have been more inviting. The girls loved hunting for Easter eggs in that beautiful home. It was warm enough to use the pool every day we were there. It felt like summer barbecuing on the nice BBQ grill and eating by the pool. We would DEFINITELY rent this home again. The owner was also very easy to work with and just as promised (as long as we adhered to the rules and nothing was damaged), we got our entire deposit back. This property gets an A++!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This home is not your "average" vacation rental. It was impeccably furnished and beautifully decorated. We stayed with our 3 children and my parents and there was more than enough room for everyone. It is typically a challenge to rent vacation homes because you never have as much space as you do at home, but this location was just like being at home. The pool is lovely and the hot tub was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. Las Cruces has much to offer for young and old vacationers. We came to Las Cruces to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family, the first time in over 10 years! Renting this amazing home was the best decision we could have made. The impression you get when you first walk into this gorgeous home is breathtaking. The furniture throughout the house is extravagant; the beds are so comfortable. The attention to detail that this house has is remarkable. My guests could not stop talking about how beautifully decorated and elegant the home is. I recently had a wonderful stay in this house. I stayed in it with a number of coworkers, and we used the house as a base for meetings and to entertain coworkers from New Mexico State University. The house was comfortable, airy, cool from the air conditioning, breezy from the fans, full of sunlight. The views of the mountains were easy on the soul. The well equipped kitchen and bbq setup made cooking a joy. All persons made full use of the pool and Jacuzzi. The person managing the property was cheerful and helpful in all regards. I would and will come again.Owner response: My first review as my home is so new to the Las Cruces market...and I am so glad that they enjoyed my home. I feel the same way about all his comments.
