This is a newly renovated 2 family home, with top of the line amenities. It has an open and airy floor plan which makes for a great space to relax and entertain in (although absolutely no big parties allowed). Ideal space for families and friends to enjoy together by the beach. The kitchen is loaded with high end appliances such as a Wolf cooktop and Bosch ovens for the Top Chef wannabes to indulge themselves with. There is a small 'help yourself' garden with everything you need to make salsa or ratatouille. (weekly garden service is provided.) There is a backyard, a front balcony as well as a 400 sq ft terrace with a gas grill for relaxing, dining or enjoying a cocktail. It has a master suite with a king size bed and designer bathroom with a double shower. The other rooms each have a queen size bed. The guest bathroom has a 5 ft tub big enough for 2. You will love this space.
This house can be rented whole, which will give you five bedrooms and four baths, 2 kitchens and would sleep up to 12 people!
Long Beach is a wonderful beach community with excellent restaurants, night life, and atmosphere. The house is 3 blocks from the beach, and boardwalk, 15 mns walk to the train station with a 50 mns ride to Manhattan. Close to JFK (30mns). The 21/2 mile boardwalk nearby is great for sunsets and bike riding.

My two teenagers and I stayed here for two weeks. The apartment is super clean, spacious, and has new and high-end applicances. The owner, Sam, is very attentive and we felt very welcomed immediately. The master suite has a large closet area and an extra large shower. The beds and linens are EXTREMELY comfortable; no one wanted to get out of bed! More: an early summer heatwave struck Long Island - the air conditioners were amazingly quiet and efficient. We were comfortable all day and all night. The beach is, indeed, a five minute walk, in a nice neighborhood and the beaches are beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants about 1.5 miles in the center part of Long Beach, and plenty of grocery stores. WE LOVED IT. Highly highly recommend. In fact, I will probably return for all of my future visits to New York.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a terrific apartment. We used it as a base for a week of summer activities in the area and it worked perfectly. It is the top floor of a house on a quiet residential block, is full of light, well laid out, and wonderfully well equipped with very high-quality appliances and linens. Everything is clean and new, and we would happily stay there again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
