This home was entirely newly furnished in 2011; you will agree that it is tastefully appointed and the perfect vacation getaway for family and friends. Our 55-in, HD TV with blue ray player and directv for your viewing pleasure Our living room with 2 leather couches, a fine stereo and home theater. You can watch a couple hundred TV channels (many in HD) or a variety of recorded HD movies on our expanded DVR. The house has 3 fully furnished bedrooms with a separate dedicated room just for the kids (or adults) with bunk beds and a trundle bed. The master bath is connected to the master bedroom and has a Jacuzzi tub & shower. The other two bedrooms open off a hall with an adjacent full bath. This may be our 2nd home, however, we are picky about quality and it shows in this house and the quality furnishings.
We are located in a quite, safe neighborhood with a street light right over the three boat parking areas that are adjacent to the house...two are 50-ft another is 28-ft, plenty of room for all your lake toys and vehicles.
The landscaped, fenced back yard has a gas BBQ and you can enjoy our perfect weather for outdoor dining in privacy or prepare your meals in our well equipped kitchen, you just need to bring the food, everything else is here! The dining room is connected to the kitchen and the table and bar have seating for 8.
This is not a party house and loud and obnoxious behavior is not tolerated. If you are not a responsible adult we ask you to please rent somewhere else.

Wendy's place was the perfect solution for our wakeboarding trip. Plenty of space, boat parking, and a comfortable living room to crash in after a day on the lake. She was very helpful in giving us tips for local activities and restaurants too. We loved it!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We loved our stay at this home! The photos represented the house well. It was easy to find. Close to the lake. The owners were so easy to work with. The price was so reasonable. The kitchen was well stocked. Great alternative to a houseboat if you don't have access to one. We brought ou rski boat and traveled back and forth from the lake everyday. I would totally recommend this house to anyone and would stay here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

First - Wendy, the host is friendly and prompt to answer any questions. She's a real professional and the whole process went as smooth as can be. My family stayed here with a few extended family members. The house was perfect. I'd guess the owners furnished the house in the last year. You can still see tags in the velvet lined dresser drawers. The washer and dryer are top notch samsung (wish I could have taken them home :D ) I've rented vacation homes through VRBO several times, in Paris, London, New Orleans, Laguna... this was the nicest house I've stayed at. The backyard is nice and enclosed, with enough seating for 12 on the patio. The gas grill is large enough to cook for an extended family gathering. Note: the dining room table has a built-in leaf to open up and seat 8. The kitchen comes with just about anything you're likely to need for cooking and baking.: pots, pans, baking sheets, large crockpot, coffee maker, tons of silverware, cups, plates, bowls, wine glasses, steak knives, etc... There's an extra freezer in the laundry room, which is great for ice bags and freezing your water bottles the night before heading off to the lake. The living room is comfortable with a huge flat screen and surround sound system. The 3 bedroom closets are large walk-ins. Anyone that brought a baby could easily setup a pack n'play and give the child a quiet nap room. The only negative - if you need that 9th bed - bring a foam or inflatable mattress pad to top it. It's a trundle "bed" that pulls out from under the bunk beds in the den/bedroom. It's really only a ~2inch foam mattress on a board. A small child might be okay with it as is, otherwise the coach would work better. The house is 2 minutes from Safeway, less than 10 minutes to Walmart, 20 minutes to the marina. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We usually rent a house boat. This year we couldn't get one when we wanted so we decided to stay in Page. I checked hotels but either too expensive or not available. I looked at house rentals and decided on this one and I'm glad we did! Easy to find, plenty of boat parking off the street and in a quiet neighborhood. AC worked great and nice to have a kitchen for nights and mornings. Comfy beds as well. If we don’t get a house boat next year we will for sure rent again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

This home was exactly what we were looking for. The quiet and safe neighborhood allowed us to feel comfortable parking our boat in the driveway every evening. The kids loved playing in the fenced in yard and we enjoyed the large BBQ for family meals at night. The rooms have HUGE closets and are furnished with new everything- bedding, furniture, towels etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with supplies, including a huge crock pot that slow roasted pork beautifully while we were on the lake all day. The kids loved the games and movies on the plasma TV, while the adults played cards on the dining room table. The owners are excellent to work with as well! Perfect set up for a comfortable trip to Lake Powell- we will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for your kind review. We'll look forward to seeing you and your family again next year and we appreciate you referring others to stay with.

Actually, I would give this rental a 4.5 star rating. And would most definately stay there again!! Especially anyone staying a week. Sure beats a motel, where invariably I have a room next to the guy who snores like a chainsaw. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood. Nicely redone. Nice yard and privacy. Very clean and neat. Suggested owner might provide some comfortable lawn / patio furniture. We stayed in early June, and it would have been pleasant to sit outside in the evening. Gas grill is great for cooking, with a Safeway grocery store only 3 blocks away. Kitchen well stocked. Outstanding water pressure in both showers. Super comfortable mattresses. Only took the half star off because the AC does not work very well in the bedrooms, however all rooms have ceiling fans. Due to the age of the house and existing ductwork it is unlikely the owners can do anything about this. Master bedroom has private bath with both shower and jetted tub. However, no door so no privacy when using the room. Wendy was very helpful with suggestions about things to do in the area. Seemed a little pricey but other rentals in the area were quite a bit more. It was so pleasant renting a house (our first time doing this) we may never stay in motels again! If Antelope Canyon is on your list of experiences, do lower Antelope Canyon (just across the highway on the other side of the road from the advertised upper canyon tour) in the late afternoon. We did the upper canyon in the moring with a hundred other people. Beautiful place but awful experience. Did the lower canyon second to last tour of the day, with only 4 other people. And on the last tour only one couple was going. The lower canyon was SPECTACULAR, and not very difficult at all, unless you are overweight. Some of the turns are pretty tight.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: It is always good to hear what your guest liked but more importantly what they did not like because these things can be corrected. We called in our air-conditioner contractor and he made some adjustments on the unit and says it is working good. A new sliding door was installed between the master bedroom and bath for privacy. Got plenty of furniture in the back yard, will work on making it more comfortable. Thanks for staying with us and your input!

Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: We have been in the fly fishing and lodging business for more than three decades. We own and operate Cliff Dwellers Lodge and Lees Ferry Anglers in Marble Canyon AZ, with more than 40 employees; thousands of customers stay with us each year. We have also owned and operated a fishing business in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and built what is considered by most to be Alaska's finest and most exclusive remote fishing lodge. We have hosted several television fly fishing shows and filmed countless episodes all over America and other parts of the world. We work hard and play hard.
Why the Owner Chose Page:
We own and operate a successful lodging and tourism business in Marble Canyon, Arizona,. 50 miles from Page. We have been there since 1983. Our son attends school in Page (a two hour bus ride each way!) and this is our 2nd home that we occasionally use when needed during the school year. Being lodge owners and frequent travelers ourselves, we have a good sense about what people look for while on vacation and what accommodations and amenities makes them comfortable and happy. Since we do not use this home during the summer months we decided to share our home as a rental.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It is an easy walk to the downtown business area of Page to shop for groceries etc.. There are several good restaurants within a 10 min walk. Lake Powell is about a 15 min drive from the house. There are tons of things to do and see in the area. It is a 2 hour drive to the North and South rims of the Grand Canyon. Monument Valley is close as is Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Vermillion Cliffs and Grand Staircase Escalante National monuments are both a short drive. Navajo National Monument preserves three of the most-intact cliff dwellings of the Anasazi and is an hour drive away.
There is great fishing on Lake Powell and Lees Ferry, a 45-min drive, is considered to be one of the top trout fly fishing destinations in America.
