Enjoyed our stay. We arrived in the afternoon, and as we were going to town for groceries, a violent storm arrived. Too far away to return to the house we drove on in wind, rain, & downed trees. While we were trying to wait out the storm, Nathan called our cell phone to make sure we were ok & let us know there were power lines down. Returning back to house, we were without power for the night. Luckily, we had candles & a gas hot water heater. What more could we need? The owners were very helpful & concerned. The next day we had power. We had an exciting & very enjoyable stay. We had everything we needed in a very clean & cozy place. Explored Little River Canyon, bicycled the Silver Comet Rail Trail, Climbed over the rocks at Cherokee Rock Village. Oh, and fished!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very comfortable and super clean. The owner was helpful with local info and the weather was breezy and pleasant. We had a great time fishing off the pier. We will definitely visit again!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing.

We wanted an inexpensive, quick getaway for a few days and found this to meet our needs. Our 11 year old sone wanted to do some fishing. He was able to catch a catfish right off of the pier! We also wanted to take our canoe out on the lake and the boat slip made it very convenient. The view from the land in front of the main house is just lovely. We had a very relaxing time.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: There is a lot of things to do here like fishing, skiing, riding a jet ski swimming and if you like site seeing there's plenty of that to go around.

We stayed for 3 nights at this house and enjoyed every moment we were there. The owners have supplied the house with many items that you don't even need to worry about bringing with you. It feels like a home away from home and I hope that we'll be back sooner than later. Accommodations were nice and the place was comfortable. We were able to swim off the pier, go fishing, and ride their jet ski. The owners were very helpful for any questions or concerns we had. You'll be missing out if you don't stay here!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of six spent an enjoyable, relaxing week here. Peaceful, beautiful scenery was wonderful, as was the swimming off the pier, hiking at the mouth of Little River Canyon Park, stopping to see Civil War history sites, drives through the countryside, and shopping at antique stores. Thanks to the owners for a nice vacation with many family memories!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay turned out to be much better than we expected. From the time we pulled up till the day we left was just pure awesome. There was a butterfinger cake in the fridge when we got there and it was delicious. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was just what we were looking for. Peace and quiet and relaxation is what we were looking for and that's what we got. We went to a few nearby attractions and never knew that Alabama had so much beauty to see. Little River Canyon was awesome. Sequoyah Caverns is not far from there and it was really cool. If youre looking for a nice quiet place to getaway you won't go wrong by spending your vacation here. There are other attractions nearby also. Shopping was convenient also. We would strongly recommend anyone to stay. We look forward to coming back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet or you just want to get away from it all. I would like to recommend Monday through Thursday this is when there is more privacy less people nearby or on the lake. If you just want to have fun it doesn’t matter if you stay during the week or on the weekend there are many things to do. You are sure to find something to do. Don’t take my word for it listen to the reviews of our guests and make your reservations now.

Thanks for the wonderful house. Everything you needed to stay except your clothes and groceries. Great property including a place for your boat. Great home, clean,very well stocked with things that you may need. Very clean and quiet on the lake. We had a great time, our parents really enjoyed it, very accessible for older folks. Our daughter came with her puppy and had a great time. Her dog was very welcome also. Will recommend it to others. Will rent it again . Thanks a lot. Enjoy the puppies as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners.
Owner response: I just don't know what more to say about our past guests. we would would be happy to have all of our past guest as future guest and we welcome new guest to reserve and stay in our rental. How can we make our rental better. The two main rules at our rental are 1 Make yourselves at home. 2 Enjoy your selves and have all the fun you possibly can. Bring your family, and your dogs are welcome. We are updating our boat dock, and we do have future plans for other projects. I haven't set any dates yet and they will not interfere with our guest stay. I never thought about all there is to do in this area of Alabama. I plan on updating our map to show the points of interest within driving distance of our Rental Property.

Our family was very pleased with our stay! The owners are amazing people going out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house and the property were much more than we expected, plenty to do for our family of four! Everything you may forget to bring is already thought of and provided in the house. Loved every minute of our stay and would love to return at some point! We want to thank you for your hospitality. We could NOT have found a better place to stay nor felt more "at home". We have never had a more well equipped vacation rental than this one! We hated to see it end. We are looking forward to our next visit already! The pictures definitely do not do the cabin justice. Anyone wanting a nice place to stay surely won't be disappointed. Our group of five fisherman chose this property for our annual weiss lake fishing trip. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean & comfortable the house was. The house was very well equipped & had everything you could ever need to cook with. The hostess had us a delicious cake & chilli waiting for us! We would highly recommend this property for a small fishing group or family. Most of all, the owners were very helpful & friendly & the price is very affordable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a treat this was! The delightful cottage was perfect for our needs. It was clean and tidy and most comfortable. The owners were charming and provided so many extras in the kitchen for our convenience. Our kids loved being so close to the lake. They fished, kayaked, swam and biked all week! It was such a quiet spot during the week that we felt as if we had the lake to ourselves. We took a trip to the Little River Canyon and nearby State Park, it was just a short drive from the cabin and definitely worth a visit!. The owners kindly accommodated us at very short notice and their price was excellent. We would certainly visit again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had such a great weekend at this property! The owner is super nice and describes the property exactly how it is. The house is very clean and welcoming and the ares is so peaceful and kid friendly. The property is in a great location. Only a short boat or car ride to a beautiful waterfall. Also a very short car ride to a great look off spot on top of the mountain that has breathtaking views of the lake.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I had a great time. The owners are great and very nice. The house was very cozy. You have everything you need and then some. You have any problems the owner takes care if the it right way. I can not say enough about the place and the owners. I just can't wait to go back!! We also try to keep your stay as private as possible for our guest. We are now offering a free night stay that our guest can use with their first stay or any later stay. The house is very cute and cozy, we were very happy with the homeowner`s...they gave us free range of their property, including boat ramp, lake front and grill. The lake is beautiful, my family enjoyed every minute of our little vacation we were treated as a guest by the homeowners and the price is very reasonable. We look forward staying again!!! We don't have one at this time. We will be getting one or two in the future we have a flat bottom boat that will be accessible to the guests. They also asked about a fire pit and we do have a place for a small fire near the lake. Please check rates and our calendar for availability. Remember if you would like to stay 5 or more nights pay for 4 nights and stay five nights or save the free night for another stay. My wife and I thank you for your inquiries.
