  Everything that is talked about in these many reviews is 100% accurate! Richard and his apartment are perfection! A great neighborhood only 5 minutes from a major subway station and grocery, liquor stores, restaurants and the Village. The apartment was beautiful and cared for. Comfy bed, lovely back deck area for morning coffee, laundry and a classy bathroom. I'm hoping to make it back to Montreal soon so we can explore more of the city AND hopefully stay in this beautiful apartment again! I just wish our trip was more than 4 days this time around!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  This place was a GREAT find! We arrived on a Sunday and Richard met us right away, showed us where to park and even took us on a little tour of the neighborhood, including the huge IGA nearby. He gave us a tour of the apartment and let us know we could call and check out late if no one was coming in to stay the day we were leaving. The apartment looks just like the pictures and the kitchen is well equipped. We were staying with our teenage son and he was able to pull the curtain to the living room and make himself at home with the large TV. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband especially loved the high-end espresso machine. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom was cool and quiet, which led to several good nights sleep (after all the walking). The deep tub in the bathroom was especially nice after a long walk round town. We would highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay here again. The location was very central with the Metro close by.

  A well equipped unit that has everything you could need for a stay in Montreal. Upon arrival we gave a call and were met at the door within a minute or two. We were taken into the unit and showed around - it was just as nice as the pictures. We were two couples (4 people total) looking to have a weekend away and it was perfect for us. They even had the couch made up with linens and an extra mattress pad to make sure we were comfortable. They even took the time to show us some of the landmarks nearby. The neighbourhood was close to transit, restaurants, shopping, bars, SAQ, gorcery stores. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go, and the one time we did take a taxi (because I was lazy and it was cold), it was less than 10 bucks. I can only imagine how nice this place would be in the summer, when you could use the large patio at the back. I would definitely stay here again!

  Superb. A very well appointed and well kept property, exactly as advertised on VRBO. The apartment makes an excellent base from which to explore Montréal: 15 minute walk to Old Montreal; 10 minute walk to Place des arts; and 5 minute walk to the Berri/UQAM metro station. Richard's advice regarding nearby restaurants was excellent. We really enjoyed our meal at O Thym. Simon was very organized with regard to the rental and everything went off without a hitch. You will love this place!

  An excellent stay at Downtown Montreal.The condo was so tastefully decorated,you just need to be there and rest everything you need is there.The place is compareable to any luxurious hotel stay and is at a prime location.We felt like home as Richard was always a just a phone call away if you needed to ask anything and we were well taken care of since we came in and then left back for Toronto. Though this was a bad timing to come to Montreal just due to a snow storm few days earlier but definitely we will be back soon in summer. Thanks Richard and Simon. Imtiaz

  My wife and I came up to visit Montreal for a long weekend and stayed at this conveniently located condo in the heart on this bustling city. Then process online was easy to secure the condo. We arrived in the early evening to find out that our GPS didn't work in Montreal and somehow we found Amherst in the dark with a little luck. We pulled up to the condo and called Richard, got the keys and unloaded the car with Richards help. Richard also gave us a quick tour of the area (he is a fast walker) and got settled in. The condo was very nice and spacious and we enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Richard and Simon for making our time in Montreal memorable.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+.

  My husband and I stayed in this apartment for a week over Christmas. The apartment was lovely, clean, and well-kept. The photos included on the profile are exactly as the place is. Loved the unexpected amenities of hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, etc. The owner, Richard, was very kind and helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. He even helped carry our luggage! We had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Richard, for your hospitality!

  We were in Montreal for a concert in November. We were two moms there with our two teenage daughters. We were all so impressed with this beautiful condo. It had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, and the service was great. It was close to the subway and bus stations as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different than a hotel. I told a lot of people about this place and will continue to do so. The price is a steal as well!
