Great place to stay for anyone. Very clean, comfortable and easy to get to. Best for two adults and kids, or 4 adults total. If you have more than 4 adults, then one would have to sleep on the top bunk or climb up very steep stairs to a loft. With 4 adults two can sleep in the king bed, one on bottom bunk, and the other in the futon bed in the living area. Would recommend to friends and relatives. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy and fairly quick to get to Moody Gardens and Seawall. Benno's is great place to eat seafood.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

This is a great location and it was really easy to get out into the bay with the kayak provided. Very clean and well maintained and the owners/manager were pro-active in getting the standing water off the driveway after the heavy rain. The loft would be SO much fun for kids! Master bedroom and bath are small and there is no chest or bureau on which to put your suitcase or clothes so we put stuff on the bed in the 2nd bedroom, which we moved the one night we had an overnight guest. There really needs to be better lighting for grilling after dark--we used the light provided by a cell phone. If it rains, you need an umbrella to get from the house down to the covered patio and boat slip because the stair case is not covered. So if we'd had a flashlight and umbrella, we'd have been in better shape. Overall, a great place if it's one couple and you're not sharing the expense with anyone else.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay in this precious immaculate canal home. It was absolutely everything we hoped for on our last summer vacation this year with the family. We were very impressed with all the amenities the house had to offer. We took full advantage of the boat dock. We were able to fish right off the dock as well as enjoyed daily excursions to the bay with our boat. The house is situated on a quiet street with friendly neighbors, making you feel right at home. We highly recommend this home, for it is the best place to stay if you are looking for an enjoyable and pleasant vacation getaway.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The rental met or exceeded evrything listed in the descrption. The property was secluded and peaceful, yet just a short drive to Galveston. The property was very clean upon our arrival and the manager was very helpful and prompt if we had any requests.My wife loved the sun deck and the boys and I had a great time fishing off the dock. I would highly recommend this propertyand look forword to returning.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family had a wonderful time at your beautiful home. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained. My husband and kids love to fish and the location was perfect for them to take a boat out or just fish on the dock! It was also a very short drive to the beach so a great time was had by all! Not a large house, but perfect for the 4 of us. We had no children staying there so did not need/use loft. Everything worked perfectly and Karen was very efficient in getting us in and out of the house! Great perk to use the Galveston Country Club! The guys golfed and we swam with the kids...our son lives in the neighborhood and we wanted to be nearby. It was a wonderful celebration for our family! We would stay here again. Very comfy beds!!!!!! But know to bring your own bath towels and toiletries!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

What a wonderful place to spend quality family time!! Beautiful canal home that is fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay. I have stayed at many rental condos and other properties and none have been as well stocked with your daily needs. Paper products..cleaning supplies..etc. If you need it..they provided it. The property is immaculate and the furnishings very comfortable. Pride of ownership definitely shows. My grandchildren loved the loft area..their own private getaway. We do not have a boat but did use the boat dock for fishing. It was perfect!! The area is shady so fishing during the day was great. The fishing lights also provided for great fishing at night. We were out at the boat dock until 2 AM fishing. We caught lots of fish and crabs. The grandkids ages 5 and 7 had a blast!! The restroom on the lower level was also a plus..no need to go upstairs to use the facilities. All the appliances were brand new and top notch. The leather sofa in the living area was just perfect for lounging to watch television or reading a book. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cooking and serving utensils. It also had several small appliances like a blender, toaster and of course a coffee pot. Overall the place was very comfortable for my family of 6. The property is very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend it to anyone. In fact we are already planning another trip..just need to find an open date. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. This home was truly delightful, with a family of boys who just wanted to fish 24-7 this canal home was perfect for fishing off the dock or taking our own boat for daily excursions out into the bay,since the boat slip was available to use. Perfect location for quick access to the canal. Karen was very attentive to our needs, when the outside fishing lights on the deck were not working, she had the appropriate person come to check them out and they had them working the same night. Even though the weather was not the best during our stay, the home was relaxing. It would be helpful it there were more outside lights on the bottom floor deck/patio. We would definitely recommend this place and would choose it again. Kitchen was fully equipped with plates, utensils, cleaning supplies. This is perfect for a family of four to six and the loft area is awesome for the younger kids. Thanks for sharing your home!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers

Experiencing that “calgon take me away” syndrome… Look no further, you’ve reached serenity! Not only is this place immaculate and tranquil, but it’s the perfect get away place for family time or a romantic getaway. So many nearby activities and great restaurants if you don't want to stay in. My family and I have taken advantage of this place multiple times and we’ll continue to do so.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We are wonderful time in the canal house. Started out as a Girl trip with my daughter. Much needed time away together to Rest . The house was very well set up in the kitchen, everything you need. Loved the canal sunsets, being able to go for a swim right there at the house, very friendly neighborhood.The House was beautiful, perfectly clean, delightful colors. Can't wait to go back. Aaaawwww Island Living!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a great value. The location is excellent, just 5 minutes from mini-grocer, liquor store, fresh fish market; the amenities within the house are excellent as well. The home is immaculate, well appointed, with great views. The appliances are new; the kitchen and bathrooms are very modern and as is the furniture throughout the house. We hope to rent it again soon on our next trip to Galveston!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
