Cross over the bridge, leave your cares behind, and make memories. A gorgeous 180-degree view of the Atlantic Ocean awaits you at this oceanfront home on the North Carolina coast. The soothing sound of lapping waves will relax you as you decide on activities for your stay.

No matter the size or make up of your vacationing party, you'll find "it all" within a 40 minute drive. For those that want physical activity, there is hiking, kayaking, canoeing, or bicycle riding and jogging on the beach.
The ocean brings with it lots of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing all in nearby North Myrtle beach; and of course there is swimming on Sunset Beach. If you are an angler, fish off the Sunset Beach pier or charter fishing boats, go on gambling boats, or the Dolphin Adventure Cruise.

Some of the area's finest golf courses are only minutes away -- Oyster Bay, The Pearl, The Thistle, Sandpiper, Sea Trail ... many others in North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach. Many fancy miniature golf courses are also within a 20 minute drive, including Par Harbour in Sunset Beach and Harbor View in North Myrtle Beach which also has a Par 3 course and a driving range.

For a more relaxing time, do some star gazing or bird watching or check out the shops and galleries in the artsy community of Southport, NC or the outlet shops in Conway and Myrtle Beach, SC. Need a break from the sun? Having the odd rainy day? Enjoy entertainment complexes such as the Planetarium in Sunset Beach. In nearby South Carolina, you can visit the Carolina Opry, Alabama Theatre, House of Blues, and Dixie Stampede.

Then there is the usual: restaurants, cinemas, museums (Children's, Confederate House Antiques), zoo, antiquing, botanical gardens, sightseeing, Alligator Adventure, aquarium in Ocean Isle, fitness clubs, tanning salon, and kids go-cart racing nearby.

Your "home away from home" features an open floor plan with large windows that provide panoramic ocean views from the living room, dining room, and kitchen area. You can watch the ocean waves break on the powdery white sand as you prepare dinner in the fully-equipped kitchen (complete with refrigerator, icemaker, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, mixer, toaster oven, spice collection, coffee grinder and a lobster pot for that perfect seafood meal at the beach)!

The main living area and all bedrooms have a TV with DVD and VCR. There is an extensive video collection in both formats. There is also a stereo with radio, CD player and a CD collection as well. Games include puzzles, assorted card games, Trouble, checkers, Allowance Game, Candyland, Life, Carolinaopoly, Yahtzee and others.

The master bedroom with queen bed downstairs is complemented by a second bedroom on the second floor with 2 queen beds and an oceanfront deck (and sliders that open for fresh salt air and summer breeze that you will remember long after you return home). Your bedroom deck has lounge chairs for sun bathing and a table for "eating with a view".

Enjoy watching the dolphins swimming and the fishing boats trolling as you soak in the sun on your bedroom deck. The third bedroom shares a bath upstairs and has the remaining set of twin beds (which can be made into a King) for sleeping a total of 8 people. All bedrooms are equipped with their own TV, DVD player and VCR.

Meticulous attention to decorating details provides this home with a wonderful combination of beach and comfort. You'll feel like your home has moved surfside! In the evening, enjoy spectacular pink sunsets to the west. Myrtle Beach and all its activities lie in sharp contrast to this piece of paradise, just 40 minutes away. Coolers, grill, picnic table, beach umbrellas, chairs, and toys are all available for you to enjoy at the world-famous, wide, North Carolina coast.
