We had a great vacation with our three kids at this condo. Fantastic ocean views with prime sunrise vantage point from large balcony. Enjoyed our meals at table on balcony while keeping an eye out for whales. Very conveniently located close to Costco and with well appointed kitchen had great meals right on site. We didn't want to leave. Especially enjoyed snorkeling at semi private beach. Also made good use of pool. Not crowded at all and overall a very quiet location. Thanks again for a great place to stay!

Once again our stay was incredible: beautiful sunrise every morning, whales to watch frequently, some beautiful sunsets, and great weather every day! Swimming in the Sea of Cortez was great. Thanks Mike! Your condo was exactly as described and our stay was great. We are a family of 6 and the accomodations worked great for us. I think the location is perfect. The beach to the east was pretty decent and easy snorkeling. The beach to the west almost always had local surfers and some pretty good shell collecting. Other than the surfers, there was hardly anyone ever there. We walked up through the rocks to the west to the main beach several days. We were totally surprised at how few people use that area of the beach. We enjoyed the Marina and the Mall, just shopping and sight-seeing. Access to all by rental car was pretty easy. We really enjoyed Cabo. We felt totally safe and it has a small town feel to us. Having Costco and Walmart so close almost made us feel like we were back home when we needed something. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at how quiet Missiones is. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Just returned from my 3rd trip to Mike's place at Misiones. My first trip was a very relaxing trip with my spouse... we enjoyed watching the sunrise and cup of coffee from the spacious condo balcony... WOW what a view. Nice walks to town on the beach. The last two trips were with friends and co-workers, great time in Cabo and much needed time relaxing at the pool during the daytime hours. Thank you Mike for allowing us to visit your great property!

Wow! Where do I start! My wife and I stayed here for a week and did not want to leave. The accommodations were perfect. This condo is clean, spacious and the newly remodeled bathrooms look great! The ocean and land's end views from the large balcony were absolutely beautiful. We took more sunrise and sunset pictures in one week than we've taken in 40 years! Misiones is a wonderful complex. We were pleasantly surprised to have a concierge at the front desk to help with just about anything (restaurant, beach & shopping recommendations etc.) and there are always taxi's right at the front gate! The pool is very clean with plenty of chaise lounge chairs and the swim up bar is very convenient. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and the staff was always friendly. There is one restaurant inside Misiones (Mona Lisa) and the other (Viejo I think is the name) is at the resort entrance and is easily walked to. We ate here and the food was great, prices were reasonable. We also ate dinner at the Roadhouse (Latitude 22) Restaurant and would recommend this place. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the bar / food were great! We would also recommend a couple of activities. We spent a full day at Medano Beach at a beach bar / restaurant named " The Office". This was a very fun and lively beach with plenty of activity. Thursday nights in San Jose (about a 15-20 minute cab ride north) are lively because the city sponsors an "Art Walk" through the art district, with free wine sampling and many clubs offer live music. Last but not least, we would highly recommend the "Cabo Rey" sunset dinner cruise (about $75 per person). This was a great trip. The ship takes you on a 2 1/2 hour tour of the Sea of Cortez. The price includes free beer and tropical drinks, dinner to satisfy anyone and live music on the third deck! All in all, this trip was one of the best we have taken! Thanks again for everything and we will definitely be back!

We have stayed once before at Missiones in a 1 bedroom condo and it was nice too but this 2 bedroom condo is nicer with better views and well appointed. We are already looking to come back in March 2012 and maybe buying a place in Missiones in the near future as we love it so much. Love it!

We take all guest comments very seriously. I apologize for the gas grill burners not working properly upon arrival. The gas grill burners will rust out and cause a uneven flame, more so around saltwater. Sometime's we are not aware of this until it is brought to our attention, as soon as it was we replaced it. It was replaced within 10 days of notification, per guest . We did receive 4 out of 5 stars, so I am very glad that they were still able to enjoy their vacation. It was also mentioned that we have a spectaculer view. Please take a look at the pictures, that is exactly what you will get. The kitchen is well suited to prepare a full meal. The manager (live's on site) works very hard to maintain a nice place. The condo has everything you need to have a enjoyable vacation, even a washer & dryer. Most of all is the spectacular view. Between your playing around in Cabo, it is very nice to come home and relax while watching the Whale's (please see actual picture's from balcony), cruise ships passing by, and listening to the sound of the ocean. So if your looking for a nice & clean place with awesome views at a great price, please contact me or fill out the request. Thank You

Mike, My apologies for just getting around to this now. My wife and I want to thank you for allowing us the use of your place in Cabo. We really liked your place, the facility, and the quiet. Javier (the concierge) was terrific. The weather was just fabulous. Warm, and somewhat humid (apparently from the hurricane near Acapulco). I loved the warm evenings also. Views were sweet, and we actually saw a pod of dolphins swim by. Glad we brought our binoculars. What a great feeling to come into a place after a long day out in the heat, and having the wonderful feeling of coolness also. The AC was beautiful. We found a couple of cool restaurants that we went to a couple of times...Miguel Locos, and the restaurant just at the top of the hill at the entrance to Misiones, Puerta Vieja. $17 for a three course meal (filet mignon to boot) was great value. We ate there the last day, and wished we had gone there sooner. The first night in Cabo we ate at Maria Corona's. A great start to our stay. Very friendly, very good food, great service. We ate at other restaurants also, and did not have a bad experience at any of them. Had a really good time on the Cabo Rey Luxury Cruise, did the taxi to Lands End, and the Arch...I believe we could actually walk under the Arch as the sand was exposed(although we did not actually go ashore this time). We will definitely return to Cabo. Next time we will rent a car and do a little more exploring out of Cabo.

This is our 3rd year back staying at this specific condo, and as usual it was spotless and felt like our own home. If you are looking for a place to relax with amazing beauty and not all the hustle, bustle and crowds, this is definately the place to stay. This was the first year we walked from the condo into the town of Cabo, and it was amazing. The walk was so beautiful, quiet, and awesome exercise. There is nothing better then a huge deck off your condo looking at the ocean and hearing the waves hit the rocks. We spent every morning and evening sitting on the deck for hours. Of course, I had tequila in my hand at all times.!!!!!!!

Family of 4 vacation in March 2011

We took a family vacation in March 2011 with our two girls ages 11 and 8. We really enjoyed this property. We are not into the big resort atmosphere, like to have leisurely mornings, quiet evenings and do most of our own cooking, and we had everything we wanted here. The view off the balcony is "to die for"--Land's End out one side and the Corridor coast out the other--even caught some fireworks from one of the other resorts up the coast on two nights. We really liked the private little snorkelling beach and our kids loved the pool area. The resort was not that busy when we were there, so you never had to worry about having an umbrella at the pool. Our weather was perfect--warm and sunny every day. We did the Pirate ship evening cruise and Zip lined and Wild Canyon and both were really great. We would recommend this property for families that like to do their own thing and have a relaxing quiet stay.

We had a great time in Cabo! The condo was very clean and had amazing 180 degree views of the ocean. The resort itself was maintained very well and everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. Taxis were always available on site so it was never difficult to get into town (which was about a 5-10 minute ride away). I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to visit Cabo, especially if they're looking for a peaceful oasis that isn't far from all the action.

thanks Mike for sharing your home with us. After reading the first page of reviews all I can say is they are all right on the money. Beautiful veiws, clean, very well maintained, relaxing,secluded private beach, easy access to the many local eateries (road house is my favorite) and on and on. The fishing is also excellant, first time eating sushi from 1 of the tunas caught in the morning fishing trip. the pictures do not do the place justice it's simply wonderful.

Beautiful Condo!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful condo. The pictures are exactly what you get. Sitting on the balcony in the morning, watching the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen and the whales in the ocean, made every day of our stay amazing. The property was very clean and well maintained. It was a little too quiet for us, we basically had the pool to ourselves. Armando, at the pool bar, was awesome and kept us well entertained! Mike was great and answered any questions that we had. This property is perfect if you want quiet and relaxing.

My son and I recently went to Cabo San Lucas and we stayed in this condo at Misiones. The unit was very nice with great views to the ocean from the 3rd floor. The two bedrooms were spacious and the living areas were excellent. The condo was clean and well maintained. Misiones is a nice property - quiet and friendly with great pools and access to a surfing beach. The owner also helped us arrange a deep sea sportfishing excursion. He was very accomodating and provided us with valuable information on the area. It truly made for a great vacation and I would recommend this particular property to others.

Quiet and Relaxing

We loved staying at your condo, Mike. The ocean view was fantastic from the balcony, exactly like the pictures, and the condo very spacious. Loved having a bathroom in each bedroom. The condo very clean and maintained. The grounds are beautiful and also very well maintained. We went in September so it was very quiet which was exactly what we wanted. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The beach area just in front of the condo is secluded and great snorkeling. We found that it was too hot and humid to walk to Walmart and Costco, so we took the bus there and a taxi back with our groceries. Downtown is not walking distance but if you have a car, it would be no problem and you can also take the bus or taxi downtown as well. There are always taxis at the entrance of the resort. This is a great location if you want quiet and relaxation and you still have the opportunity to go downtown for the evening if you so desire.

Amazing view from the balcony we got to see whales go by most mornings. The swimming beach was a nice place to relax and read. The restaurant up the road 'Puetro Vieja' serves up great steaks with a sunset view and easy listening live music, 'Cabo Noodles' by Home Depot is another great restaurant within walking distance. Our favourite restaurant was 'Maro's Shrimp House' just 2 blocks off the marina their 'Bulldog" drink is a must try. A short walk to the highway to catch the local bus was easy and got us to Wal-Mart, Costco and downtown Cabo. Had a great time and are looking forward to returning to Cabo. Thanks again Mike for sharing your home in paradise with us.

Mike and Lisa - Your oceanfront property is definitely the perfect place to relax, unwind and have a good time! Ii is perfect for a group of family or friends as it sleeps 6, is very clean, beautiful and very well equipped. It would also be a perfect getaway for a couple to have a romantic retreat with the ocean views and and waking up to the ocean waves! We can't thank you enough for allowing us to stay at this place and wake up to the most beautiful ocean view we can ever imagine. The whale watching from the balcony was amazing! Cabo San Lucas is beautiful and the people are very friendly there. The restaurants were fabulous! As parents of four children and very busy lives in addition to recently finishing up chemotherapy, we couldn't have asked for a better place to get away from it all and relax! We had an awesome stay in this condo. Lots of room for 4 adults and 2 children. The ocean view is spectacular. The resort is very nice and quite with 2 pools allowing for sun or shade at all times of the day. Make sure you get to the Mona Lisa Sunset... 4 minute walk.. for either pizza or seafood. Had a great, relaxing time. The condo was perfect for our family of four. The views from the balcony are spectacular. We fell asleep to the sound of surf, woke up to the sunrise over the water, and drank margaritas to the sunset. A sunset drink at the restaurant Sunset Da Mona Lisa is a must. It's a very short walk from the condo. But the view from the condo is almost as good...and from the condo we could see the full moon light up the ocean in the other direction. The complex is nicely landscaped and well maintained. My daughters only left the pool for dinner. Snorkeling at the Misiones beach was OK but limited--much better at Chileno and Santa Maria Beaches which are near by. Misiones location is convenient to everything. Recommend La Fonda in Cabo for a dinner.

Our unit was not as described. We have stayed in many VRBO units before and this one falls way below expectations, for anyone that likes to cook! The barbecue was a pile of rust. (Took 10 days to replace) The kitchen is very minimal and old fashioned. Not well stocked with cook ware. The blender was broken. (took 10 days to replace) The stove exhaust fan was extremely noisy and did nor exhaust!. The rest of the condo was fair with a spectacular view of the ocean, the arch in the distance and the cruise ships. The owner has a new manager and hopefully that will bring the condo up to it's full potential. We stayed 3 weeks and visited other condos in the same complex that were far better.

Had a great time! Condo was great. Awesome views from patio! Landscape very nice. Pools nice and clean. Deep sea charter fishing at marina with BJC,s Benito- owner took great care of us and we caught 5 Mahi! Grilled out on the patio that night, fish! Awesome snorkeling at chilito bay ,3 miles away. Lovers beach was awesome! Water taxi takes you from Marina $8 round trip, A have to do when here! Hope to come back soon!

Fabulous time. Location, Location,Location the place was perfect, the bartender was the best and the community had everything we could ask for and more. One of the best get ways. Cant wait to book it again. From the accommodations in the condo, to the pools available, parking, and if we did not want to drive just a short cab ride downtown. Perfect spot for any CABO VACATIONER!

Mike I can't thank you enough for your beautiful condo. It was the most relaxing atmosphere. The view from the deck is amazing, and the condo felt like home and is the perfect floor plan. Mike, I can't tell you what an awesome time we had in Cabo! Wouldn't you know the swine flu had just broken out and we definetly made the right decision to go! The Condo is beautifuly decorated with incredible sunsets and sunrises. We grilled out (being from Wisconsin .. we always grill out no matter what)every nite. Why go anywhere else! Cosco is the place to go! we grilled out Mahi Mahi and chicken , while wathing the sunset. Beautiful! We swam in the ocean on the private beach.,loved it. The pool was so close so we swam in the mornings and ordered the wonderful tacos.. Walked to town one day... forgot our water.. that is a must! We ate at Tabascos on the beach. (on Medano Beach) Eating delicious fish tacos and drinking your favorite mrgaritas or beer. It was a great place to people watch. We saw the whales while sitting on the balcony having our morning coffee.. unreal! We had the most wonderful time ever! Loved being away from the crowds of downtown. Mike- Your condo at the Misiones is wonderful! Everything was perfect! We loved it! The Misiones is beautiful and quiet. A perfect place to relax and unwind from our busy, hectic lives. The view of the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez along with the roar of the water was extra- ordinary! We will never forget it! Your condo is so very nice and provided everything needed for a perfect vacation. The grill made it easy to prepare a few dinners with little clean-up. We used the washer and dryer to wash and clean the condo before we left. We put the extra bottle of rum and paper plates, bowls, napkins, and cups in the closet by the front door. We reserved and prepaid transportation with GrayLine Worldwide for a round trip to the airport. It worked very well. During the week, we traveled via taxi to Walmart, downtown Cabo, and the Palmilla golf course. One day we walked up to the bus stop and took the bus to the mall. Mike, all I can say is "Amazing"! You have a beautiful condo, and the view is spectacular. Being able to get up every morning, grab a cup of coffee, and watch the whales from the beautiful balcony was fantastic. The condo was very clean and spacious. We slept 6 people without a problem. The pool bar was a source of great entertainment. For anyone who stays here, make sure you have Armando make you a bloody mary. Although this was a vacation for the adults, Misiones would be a very nice place for children as well. I simply can't say enough good things about our trip. Thanks again and hopefully we will make it back someday.

Hola Mike, Our vacation at your condo was absolutely fabulous!!! We took your suggestion and tried the tacos from the pool bar (yes, we had them on your deck); delicious! Have you tried the eggs for breakfast? The scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese = excellent. The whale watching was magnificent!!! I am certain you arranged for the whale show the day of our departure: two adult humpbacks and one baby were together in front of the condo; the adults did 23 breaches total; sometimes both adults at the same time!!! We recently vacationed to the Misiones resort and it was a blast. I highly recommend vacationing at Missiones because of the hospitality from the staff, great food, and relaxing environment. We loved the fact that Misiones wasn't too far from the downtown marina that hosted deep sea fishing, shopping and fine dining. We loved it so much we can't wait to return next year!

We had a fabulous time at the beautiful Misiones condo. Michael's condo had the most breathtaking view. The sunrises and sunsets from the balcony were unlike anything we had seen. Gorgeous!! The pool was definitely a plus and the Taco Bar provided great food. The washer and dryer in the condo were greatly appreciated!! This was a great choice for us.

We stayed at Misiones over the New Year's holiday - the condo was exactly what we were looking for. I have two teenage kids, and while the beaches in town had nicer sand, they were also very crowded and the kids and I always looked forward to coming back to our own "private" beach. In fact we enjoyed the beach and snorkeling so much, we didn't even use the pool area! The condo was clean, and there was nothing better than having breakfast on the patio, knowing all my friends in MN were freezing...

We loved the condo. Everyday we were amazed by whales,flying rays,leaping marlin, pelicans, not to mention fantastic sunrises, and sunsets. We loved just sitting on the large deck and watching it all happen, what a beautifull spot!! We hope to be back soon

Mike, Thank you so much for allowing Alicia and me to stay in your condo. We had a fantastic time. The view, sunrise, and sunset... Best we have ever experienced! Misiones was quiet and peaceful. Pools were fantastic! Sylvia at the Palapa Bar was very personable and fun. Spacious condo, Great balcony, Convenient distance to Cabo. Thank you for the Pacifica! We will be back!

What a view, the condo was great, the pools were fun, the distance from town is perfect. The complex is well maintained, the food and drinks at the pool bar are great, Armando the bartender was a great source of local info, the condo was perfect, you can see the arch, town and the ocean from the huge patio, inside is spacious and clean, the rooms were big and the washer and dryer were great! We will rent from Mike again. We caught lots of sun, fish, and the food and drink in town was fun! Don't hesitate to rent at Misiones!! We paid half the price that other places in town were charging and we had a better time! Thanks again Mike!

In Oct,07 we rented your condo and it was the greatest thing we ever did..loved the large bedrooms and private bath in each room...also in unit washer and dryer...caught two big marlins,,fishing was great..we really enjoyed the swim up bar at the pool..also a private beach..the shopping was wonderful...as the great morning sunrise from the balcony..everything was just perfect...thank you again..will be back,,soon!!! Million dollar views are hard too come by, this one has it. Fishing was world class just like all the TV shows said. The kitchen worked great for preping our catch of the day , while the outside grill was perfect for cooking. dinner was served on the deck with a fantastic sun set over cabo rock. Snorkeling in the ocean was like swimming in a pool full of fish. The 2 pools were clean and the the staff treated us like we owend the condo. I will definatly be back. Thanks for my best vacation ever

We stayed here may of 08, and very much so enjoyed it. We have been to mexico many times and have always stayed in hotels, this was so much more private and felt like home for the week. Misiones and the staff were very hospitable and nice. The condo was very spacious, private and had the most stunning view overlooking the water with a view of the arch of cabo. Just a couple minutes to town yet quiet and very peaceful. Thanks for the great time and we will be back very soon.

My husband, 2 teenage daughters, and I stayed at this lovely, spacious condo with a magnificent panaramic view of the Sea of Cortez and the Arches. The condo was exptremely comfortable along with the 200 sq ft deck. The employees at Misiones were friendly and helpful. The 2 pools were wonderful, especially the infinity pool with a view of the Arches. We enjoyed the location being a few miles from Cabo and close to Costco. The owner, Michael, sent information which proved to be quite informative and helpful. We look forward to a return visit.

What a great condo!! The sunset views from the condo were unbelievable! Condo was well furnished and well maintained. The main pool was comfortable, never crowded and you still had access to a swim-up bar/snack bar. The snorkeling at the beach next to the condo was excellent. Access to Costco, other grocery stores, and into Cabo was very convenient with the rental car and driving in and around Cabo was very easy. Sunset cocktails at the restaurant were also extremely nice.

We've stayed in other condos at various resorts in Hawaii and the Virgin Islands, but this was the nicest we've every experienced. This was partly because all "the basics" were well covered -- the Air Conditioning actually worked, there was plenty of hot water, and the condo was generally as advertised. Beyond that, the location can't be beat. The view from the balcony is terrific, and the complex is quiet and private, but it is close to Cabo San Lucas, with lots of great restaurants, shopping & one of the best beaches (Playa Medano) I've ever experienced. (Unlike many beaches, your feet don't encounter rocks & seaweed as soon as you step in the water! And it is HUGE...) Also note that the restaurants by the pools (both the tacos by the main, central pool, and the sit-down restaurant by the western pool) are very good -- and fairly reasonable.

Hi Bob, Wanted to let you know what a great time we had at your place in Misiones. You have a beautiful ocean and pool view from your unit and it was larger than we expected. We appreciated having a nice kitchen to cook most of our meals in, and one night we used the bbq at the pool to cook the fish we caught. The info you sent us prior to our arrival was very helpful since this was our first trip to Cabo. We'll be back. Thanks for all your help, Dan and Rita
