We stayed with our four young children and had a great week. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equiped. The location very close to the pool and tennis courts worked very well for us. We spent a lot of time there and could easily go back to the unit if needed. The beach is not far 5-10 min ride to the State Park. Nice Clean beaches. Being able to have the pool as a followup to the beach was bonus. Ocean City is close by but we only went one day because there was plenty to do between beach and pool and a little fishing in the ponds in the development. The kids LOVED the place and we made some great memories. Great value too. Thank you Justin and Kristen. We will return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The condo looks as pictured, clean and neat. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery and dishes. All of the appliances were clean and in working condition. The A/C was very efficient and kept both upstairs and downstairs cool evenly. The main bathroom is spacious with beautiful sunlight filtering in from sunroof during the day. All furniture and flooring seemed to have been purchased with durability and functionality in mind. Everything was in lovely condition. We had two couples and a teenager in our group and also had several other family members join us for cards and games during the week. There was room for all!! The sun-porch was a beautiful way to spend the early morning hours, drinking coffee and catching up with work emails before heading to the beach only a few miles away - so serene and peaceful. Tennis courts and pool were a stones-throw away and both were well-kempt and adults and kids all had a wonderful time spent there. Harpoon Hannah's was only a couple miles up the road and we rented a pontoon boat to go out on the bay for a few hours and then returned for some wonderful appetizers and drinks there. The Pizza place across the road was wonderful and prices were very good. There are so many wonderful eateries and unique stores all within a few miles. And, the grocery store is just down the road along with drug store. I could go on and on about all the amenities this condo afforded us, but to wrap things up, it is in a wonderful location, is in pristine condition, and most of all, you can tell the owners are very involved with upkeep, are accessible should there have been any problems, and really seem to care that their renters have the best experience possible while staying there. We had a most pleasant stay and hope you do too!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful vacation at this Mallard Lakes townhouse! The property is well maintained and has everything you could possibly need, including, books, games and a PS3 for rainy days(but we didn't have any rainy days! ). The amenities at Mallard Lakes are great....2pools,3tennis.courts,playgrounds, beautiful lakes ........and of course the magnificent Fenwick beaches, shops and restaurants just minutes away. The owner was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this vacation rental!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This place is fantastic! The owners are really responsive, answered all of our questions, and had an effective and efficient rental process. Mallard Lakes is a great place to come and to relax. But if you want activity, there is plenty to do and everything is conveniently located. The townhouse was exactly as described in the rental listing. The owners have thought of absolutely everything that you could need during your stay. (e.g., fishing rods, board games, books, well-stocked-kitchen, high chair, portable crib, even a baby gate for the stairs! ) with all items provided in great condition. The owners even provided a welcome binder with “how to” instructions, restaurant menus (eat-in and carry-out), nearby attractions and schedules, etc. The townhouse location is superb, close to both of the pools, tennis and shuffleboard courts, and less than 3 miles to the Delaware and Maryland beaches. We found sitting outside the townhouse watching the wildlife or fishing off the lake dock especially relaxing. Thank you for providing a wonderful place. We had an awesome relaxing time during our two week stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had an awesome family vacation!! The house was perfect....clean, the perfect size, and close to everything! Plenty for our little ones to do! They loved the swimming pool, playing tennis, and the playground. They also enjoyed the nearby Pirate Adventure and also the water park! And, of course, the beach & boardwalk! We were able to do it ALL and still manage to spend some time relaxing with all of the comforts of home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo is updated, clean, and very convenient, kids enjoyed crabbing in the ponds and swimming in the pool. The condo is close to everything yet far enough from all the craziness, if you stay make sure you try the orange crush.... Just rented this unit for a golf vacation in April 2012. It was perfect for our needs, fresh water pond right behind so we spent some time fishing. Slept 5 men comfortably. Great spot, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend this unit to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was our first vacation since we got engaged and it was our favorite yet!!! The condo was clean, organized and large. It was just the two of us however we could have brought 4 more and still had plenty of room. The condo is a 5 minute drive from Ocean City Beach and surrounded by great places to eat and shop. The pool, tennis, and shuffleboard areas are great as well. We can't wait to go back again next year. This is the most relaxed I've ever been after a vacation...Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My family and I stayed at this property from July 30-Aug 6th, 2011. It was BETTER than described! We have been going to Ocean City all our lives (practically) and we felt like we didn't even have to leave DE. We went to the Fenwick beaches and enjoyed them more than the MD beaches. The unit was updated and well maintained. Loved having Wi-Fi, PS3,board games and novels in the room. Fishing/crabbing off the small pier provided my children with something to do while waiting to go to the beach.Very relaxing atmosphere and it had all that we needed for a wonderful week at the beach. We hope to make this our annual "home away from home". The owner was very gracious and informative and just a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to going back next summer (or sooner) Thanks so much for making our stay the best we've had in a long while!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The condo looks just like the pictures, clean and neat. The pools were both a short walk away. The kids loved fishing and crabbing on the dock that was outside our door. The porch was a nice way to enjoy breakfast or dinner. We enjoyed playing the games that were provided. Ocean City was only a few miles away. Parking was free on the side streets. We recommend going to Assateague State Park and seeing the wild ponies, just watch your food. The kids enjoy looking at them as they roamed right passed us. We highly recommend vacationing here. Our family enjoyed our vacation in this newly updated, very clean, well maintained property. The owners have really gone the extra mile to make sure your vacation is enjoyable. The location is perfect for families. The quiet neighborhood with many things to do like fish from the dock just steps from the backdoor, swim in the community pools, shuffle board and tennis. The beach is a short drive away and we had no problem finding parking at the Fenwick Island bath house. I recommend "beaching" there because there are concessions and bathrooms. Our boys appreciated the Playstation 3! We will definitely come back next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

we stayed here over 4th July weekend this year and it was very nice, clean and spacious. there was a big bathroom with a huge tub.....there were 2 pools although we used the closest one...it was a close drive to the state park..which was awesome because you just park your car and go right on the beach..(.on fenwick island.).that state park is great it has bathrooms and showers and even a snack stand..and the beach is clean...the place is also a short drive to Ocean city, Maryland where you'll find tons of things to do with the kids..and plenty of restaurants...Also there are grocery stores close by...my kids really enjoyed the stereo system in the townhouse and the play station 3..and having a tv in every room was a plus...We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it....loved it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed at this vacation home the week of June 25 - July 2nd. It was very nice, and completely new just as described in the ad. The Playstation 3 was a nice touch! The community pool is directly across the parking lot from this unit, and we visited the pool several times over the week. Please note: The pool is $75.00 for the week on top, and paid directly to the community (Mallard Lakes) *not* the landlord. This was definitely made clear to us in our contract, I'm just restating it here in case you are not familiar with the community Mallard Lakes. Also there was a large playground (2 slides, some swings, etc) within walking distance as well which the kids loved. The beach is just a short car ride away, but go early because parking definitely is competitive! Overall, we found the stay very nice and would definitely recommend it to family/friends and would stay againRecommended for: Families with young children
