  The Casita at The Palms is pefect for two vacationers on Ambergris Caye. While it is not beachfront, there are chairs available for use at the oceanside area of the complex and the pool is steps from the Casita door. What sets this rental apart is the attention to detail. The furnishings are comfortable and relfect the local culture. If you want to cook, the small kitchen is well set up to do so. It is very obvious that the owners take pride in their vacation home. The staff at The Palms is exceptional and are ready to answer any question you may have and will take care of arranging your tours, golf cart rentals or anything you need to make your stay a great one. From first contact with the office staff by email to our comings and goings with the entire staff during our stay, we really felt like they cared about us and truly wanted us to have the best vacation possible. If and when we visit San Pedro again we will stay in the Casita at The Palms!!

  The poolside casita at The Palms is a wonderful place to call home in San Pedro. We had a happy stay there , and would highly recommend it for several reasons: CASITA: This beautiful gem has been designed, furnished and decorated with the greatest attention to detail. The owners, who were were fortunate to meet, have great pride in this unit and with good reason. It is not a large space, but is comfortable and cozy, with so many touches (beautiful hand carved doors and other finishings). An efficient kitchen with all fittings. Above all, it is clean, clean, clean. Casita guests have access to beach loungers at the front of the complex, however you are tempted to lounge at the pool as its so private abd quiet ... right on your doorstep. The photos are accurate. LOCATION: No need for a golf cart rental; you can walk "downtown" to restauraunts/bars/grocers/tour opertors in a couple of minutes, either by beach or by road. Despite being close to the action, the casita is tucked in behind the larger condo complex, beside the pool and for the most part you feel as if you're in your own mini oasis. Traffic/airport noise is not an issue (the Palms is only a block or so from the airport but the vegitation and surroundings block most noise from the airport). THE PALMS: A well staffed resort, each of the employees we encountered in our 3 week stay were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The property is very professionally managed and maintained. SAN PEDRO: A lively, small town with so many friendly people; be it San Pedranos, ex pats, returning snowbirds (our demographic) ... probably the most welcoming place we've ever visited. Tons of options for dining, touring, shopping, accommodations. We wouldn't hesitate recommending the poolside casita at The Palms to any of our family or friends. If you're interested in a quiet, relaxing space this is the place to go.
