we enjoyed the rental property, we have been vacationing at Douglas Lake for over 10 years and this was our first time at this property and on this side of the lake, we hope to return again next year. Rates
May 1- June 30: $800/week for 2 people. July 1- Thru Labor Day: $1000/week for 2 people, plus $20/day for each add'l guest September (after Labor Day): $800/week, $275/night for two guests. For parties of more than 2, a $20 per guest fee will be applied. Rentals are Sat. to Sat./ Check-in is at 4:00 p.m., and Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. 2 night minimum on all rentals. $200 cleaning fee will be added to all rentals.

About: I am a retired teacher who is renting out my family's cottage. I live on nearby Crooked Lake, so I will most likely be there to welcome you myself!
Why Douglas Lake:
This cottage has been in my family for several decades, but it has not been lived in on a full-time basis for about 6 years. It's a great place, and it seemed a shame to have it sitting there without anybody enjoying it!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Probably the first thing that you will notice is that things are nice and quiet. The lake is perfect for fishing, water skiing, sailing, jet skiing and swimming. Douglas Lake is a bit off the beaten path, yet it is still conveniently located for anyone wanting to visit Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Mackinac Island, and/or the Upper Peninsula. Also, the Pellston Airport is a mere five minutes away.
