We want your family & friends to have a great experience and forget all of their worries while making great memories that will last a lifetime. Sound too good to be true or too much like a Hallmark card? Well we aren't kidding!
Wake up every morning and walk directly out of your bedroom onto the deck and breathe in Emerald Isle's salty air. House has 4 bedrooms with Queen beds (all with deck/balcony access) & a kids' loft/entertainment area on the 4th level with 4 twin beds complete with books, games, puzzles, a TV, DVD/VCR player & stereo system. In the den you can even watch tv, look to your left and see the ocean... of course, that's just from the inside, wait until you step out onto the decks!
Beach access is literally steps away across the street with a wooden walkway leading directly to the surf. Families with young kids will enjoy this convenience by not having to walk far with all your beach supplies and stuff! You also have the convenience of our exhilarating outdoor shower with hot/cold water to wash off the beach sand and lotion.
Cook all of your favorite 'beach foods' in our fully equipped kitchen while looking at the emerald blue ocean. Then dine and entertain inside with family & friends while enjoying the great ocean views from the large eating area or have your meals outside on the deck's large teak dining table with umbrella where the view and sounds of the ocean enhance the experience.
Watch schools of dolphins in the morning swim by & flocks of pelicans dive in for a snack in the afternoon. If you need some shade, head down to the lower level deck & relax on one of our lounge chairs or porch swing. Of course, the decks have great views, but nothing can beat hanging out on the beach & swimming in the ocean. After a long day, enjoy our outdoor shower (w/ hot & cold water) and indulge in some great local seafood at one of many restaurants within minutes of the house. After the kids have gone to sleep, sneak back out on the deck and look at the moonlight shine over the water with a glass of your favorite beverage. Get the best sleep of your life (as long as you put on plenty of sunscreen) and wake up ready to do it all over again!

Our family had an amazing stay at this property! We have three boys, ages 5 and 3 year old twins. I was worried that I would not find a nice home, in our price range with close enough access to the beach. This house was perfect for our family. The beach is right across a very quite light traffic road..it was a 2 minute walk, which is perfect when toting 3 little ones! The house itself was extremely clean and looks much nicer in person that even in the photos. The kitchen was fully equipt. with baking pans/pots etc. all we needed to cook all meals right out the house. And eating out on the peaceful deck looking out at the water every night was heavenly! Having the outdoor shower was also another feature we used every day after our beach time...and I feel is a necessity after beach time with kids! When looking for a rental property I searched this and many websites and this house was everything we wanted and more. The owner was also great to work with, very professional and personable. He even called to make sure everything was to our liking after we arrived. My kids, husband and myself all agree that this will be our "Beach Retreat" for sure, next summer too!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We had a lovely vacation. The beach house is wonderful, tastefully done, equipped with all the amenities and easily accessible to the beach. The property is clean and well maintained. Our landlord answered questions RIGHT AWAY! I would recommend this property to both friends and relatives. It is close to the restaurants and attractions. The listing was accurate and the photo's really didn't do the property justice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

for sharing your beautiful beach-house with us. The photos don't do the house justice. It is the cleanest beach rental I have ever had. There are plenty of chairs for outdoor sitting on the decks. The decks are wonderful, there is both a shaded and a sunny deck. My family had a wonderful time. We look forward to renting this house again :-) I would definitely recommend renting from the owner. I have never had a realty company call to see if we had arrived safely and found everything in working order. Such a pleasant experience. We had two families stay in this beautiful house. The loft was PERFECT for the kids - they loved it. The rest of rooms were super comfortable. The house itself was spotless and so nice! It was a real treat to stay there - it had all we needed. The location was perfect - the walk to the beach is right across from the house. We could actually call out to the kids on the beach from the deck! Such a wonderful experience - will definitely rent again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family had a great vacation and were very pleased with the beautifully furnished and clean house. The house was immaculate, well-maintained, with every convenience we could possibly want. The rooms are a nice size and the decks are awesome! The beach is actually a shorter walk than places we've rented right on the beach. The loft provides a lot of extra space with lots of games and entertainment items for the kids. The owner was great to work with in renting the property and communicating with us. Great location with just a short drive to shops and grocery store. We'll definitely plan to rent this property again next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Retreat East! We woke up each morning and sat on the upper deck and drank our coffee as we gazed out at the ocean. The house is very nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. We loved having the beach so close. On several days the water was so clear we could see our feet when we were in water up to our chest. I guess that is why they call it the Crystal Coast! Thank you for sharing your home with us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Our family has enjoyed the Crystal Coast for the past 30 years, always renting out the same cottage. Brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, moms, dads & grandparents have come together once a year to laugh, eat, swim, ride go-karts, play putt-putt, lay out, read books, & just enjoy each other's company. Kids have grown up & now even have kids on the way. In our wildest dreams we never imagined we would have our own beach house in Emerald Isle and be able to provide quality beach experiences & memories to other families. It is truly a blessing!
