Very well maintained. But some of the doors and locks and things in flat not as convenient to a tiny or short person. Also, Front window too close to the street....You coud touch someone or be touched if there was an occasion too.....Ground floor too close to cul-de sac street. however, agent very nice and helpful and place newly designed has everything you need. Better for younger person who can utalize the loft which is GREAT. Fantastic neighborhood and convenient to all in the 5th. Too expensive for one person. Thanks, A

My teenage daughter and I just returned from a week in Paris where we stayed in this jewel-box of an apartment. It was so incredibly ideal for what we needed/wanted. Literally steps away from the Seine and Notre Dame, we couldn't believe how easy it was to get around the city and to see all of the sights. Everything is new and updated in the apartment. The shower has plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Even though we never cooked, we did use the microwave to heat up some leftovers and the refrigerator for storing our cheese and macarons. Ismael, Karine's assistant, was such a great host. He met us at the address (we took the train from the airport to St. Michel station and had an easy walk over to Rue Maitre d'Albert) and got us situated very quickly. He also gave us information about events happening around town. When we left he walked us to our train and even carried our bags. Perfect gentleman! I've already recommended this place to some friends and would suggest you stay here too. This was so much more affordable than the hotel next door and feels like you actually live in Paris. We can't wait to return.

Had a wonderful time at this studio. Very clean, all amenities, makes good use of the small space. Ismael was very helpful both at check-in and at departure. Great location! (and thank you for the Kayser boulangerie recommendation!). Ground floor, some noise at night... to be expected in such as popular area.

Our first trip to Paris was amazing. Romain, Karine's assistant, was there upon our arrival and on time for our scheduled checkout as well. The apartment is perfect for two and in such a great location. All of the pictures included are accurate We certainly would recommend it!

Friendly, tiny studio in the heart of the tourist district, close to the Metro and the RER, on a quiet street only 1/2 block away from Notre Dame. Loved that it was fully equiped including: microwave, stove top, small fridge, dishes, clothes drying racks, free wifi, wonderful book of food and spot recommendations arranged by district made by the owner, great shower pressure with hot water, fan, and several sleeping arrangements available - loft bed above accessed by stairs, couch/day bed under that was super comfortable. Conceivably, 4 could stay but it would be very crowded. Two in separate beds fit well - though we did have to juggle my campanion's huge suitcase, massive canvas bag and backpack. (My carryon fit nicely under the desk.) Owner Karine was wonderful and her son Victor delightful. Perfect for a visit to Paris.

My wife and I (both in our young 30's) spent five (5) nights here over our wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the studio. We actually slept on the very comfortable pullout bed. We did not sleep in the loft, partly because the combination of wine and a latter to get in the loft just didn't cooperate. We had an excellent meal at 'Phil Du Vin', http://auphilduvin.fr/ just around the corner and 'Three Make a Pair' http://www.lestroisfontlapaire.fr/ 'Trios' just a short few blocks away. The Metro is just down the street and only 2 or 3 blocks away is direct access the the RER. While the studio had all the kitchen furnishings you'd need we did not choose to cook during our stay. I would add; however, I think this studio works best for those 55 and younger. I say that because the pullout is similar to a mattress on the floor. This could make it difficult for some to get up and out of depending on your condition. Beyond that, go for !!! You can't beat the price/location in my opinion. We had a great time and would visit the studio again. Thanks again to Management, who were very easy to work with. Karine - We hope you enjoyed your stay Arizona!

Amazing location, with everything one may need close at hand. Karine is always easily reachable by phone or mail, and she waited for me even after I lost the train, arriving one hour later then the accorded time. The studio is within walking distance of almost every well-known place in Paris, and near two of the most central subway stations, Chatelet e Saint Michel. All in all, it was an amazing choice, with good amenities and good cost-benefit. Thank you Karine, would gladly stay there again

My wife and I just returned from our Europe honeymoon. We spent 7 days in Karine's beautiful Paris studio. The studio had the perfect location for all of our sightseeing adventures and all the amenities that we needed during our week long stay. The apartment was very warm and cozy and we absolutely loved it. When her and I return we will definitely look to Karine for future accommodations. Thank you Karine.

My wife and I just returned from our dream trip to Paris. We were very pleased with the studio. It was the perfect location in the Latin Quarter just a few steps from Notre Dame. To and from Charles de Gaulle airport was a breeze on the RER train. Karine met us right at the apartment and gave us a tour and some suggestions on where to eat and things to do from a locals perspective. She is very organized and thought of everything for a comfortable stay in Paris. We communicated via email several times prior to arrival and she was always prompt in responding. While the apartment was cozy, it had everything a couple would need for a week in Paris. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in the apartment as it allowed us to pack light and bring only carry-on luggage for the week. She had an assortment of Parisian guide books and a useful booklet that she made with suggestions for places to eat and shopping, etc. We used the fold-out bed on the bottom and found it very comfortable and easy to fold. Wi-fi was great in the apartment. The rainfall shower was also great! Overall it was a great apartment for us. It was clean and the space was well planned. It was also a great value!

My husband and I went to Paris for our one year anniversary and stayed at this darling studio. The location could not be better- it is steps from the Metro and a wonderful market. The studio is well equipped and very comfortable. The space was very well planned and very well done. We would absolutely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment October 3 - October 6 2011. The location of the rental is just perfect. Close to an outdoor market where you can buy cheese, bread, wine and everything needed to start the evening. There are several places within blocks to pick up croissants and coffee for the morning before heading out on adventures. We walked everywhere from the apartment to the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Couer, Musee d'orsay...it was perfect. Although the apartment is located in a busier area, it was very quiet at night making for a relaxing sleep. Thank you Plilippe and Karine!

Karine was very kind and punctual, meeting us at the apt as we arrived from Brussels via Thalys and metro to St Michel, it is an easy walk, even rolling luggage, from that station, and the first thing you see as you ascend from the station is the Notre Dame! You pass by a small park and you can also cut through it, tres jolie, on your way to Place Maybert where you find the narrow stree Rue Maitre Albert and you can see the # of the apt as you enter, and Karine was waiting and waving to us just as we walked down the street. The Place Maubert has a marche(market) on Tues and Thurs and you can find any kind of food in the area from groceries French and Asian, also prepared foods Greek, etc vins and liquores all within steps. The apt is small but very functional, we kept our luggage in the loft, and there is a hanging rack for shirts and dresses as well as hooks on all the doors. There is also a washing machine very handy once you get the hang of it, be sure to enter the drying time at the same as the washing, otherwise you might think you are starting the drying cycle and it begins the wash again, also do not load too much, the clothes do not come out wrinkle free as in a US dryer, but there is an iron also. All in all the apt is also a great bargain as the hotels in the area start at 115 Euro for a double. We spent a fabulous 6days 5 nights and it was fabulous as it was the first time in Paris for my fiancee. We will be back to stay here!

My wife and I just stayed for five days in this flat in the 5th and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect for exploring Paris on foot or by Metro (one block from Maubert-Mutualite). It is a lively area with cafes, pubs, and shopping, but the apartment is on a quiet street, just off Saint Germain. The apartment itself is small, but it is just fine for couples. The decor is brand new and tastfully done. There is a full kitchen with everything you could need for even an extended stay, a nice sized bathroom, sitting area, and a loft bed over the convertable sofa. There are windows at the ends of the room which let in plenty of light - one facing the street and one a beautiful inner courtyard. Philippe (who was sitting in for Karine) met us at the apartment the morning of our very early arrival from CDG and was very helpful throughout our stay. Everything about this apartment made us feel at home. We would highly recommend this flat as an alternative to a hotel room and hope it is free when we visit Paris again.
