About the owner: Owner (Doug Vinge) i am semi-retired from Vinge tile and Stone in Farmington Mn.Owner of Lake country Granite and Tile in Pequot Lakes MN. Single guy with my dog Cruz a four year old golden retriever. I enjoy all types of fishing, a little golf , work out several times a week, and enjoy dailey long walks with Cruz. I also love gardening which you will see if you every stay .Totally enjoy the up-north lifestyle.
Why the Owner Chose Brainerd:
To live on the Whitefish chain of lakes has been a dream of mine since i visited it first when i was 16. I purchased the lot in 1994, remodeled what is now the guest house, built the Log house in 05, and a 30x60 garage and carriage house(not completed) in 06. I caught my biggest walleye 50 yards of my dock, 29 incher.
Update:the guest house exterior and bath have been totally remodeled, check out the last picture on my site 2012.
