Racquet Club Estates house description
Escape to this recently renovated and newly furnished 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Mid-Century modern home with private pool and large lush backyard with spectacular San Jacinto Mountain views. Located on a quiet street, one mile from downtown Palm Springs.
Enjoy sipping coffee each morning while relaxing in the outdoor breakfast 'nook' or in one of the many seating areas in the large, private backyard as the sun casts shadows on the palms. Or take a dip in the pool (partially covered) while your family prepares a spread to share from the gas grill on the long outdoor counter or at the outdoor dining table, both perfect areas for entertaining. And, at the end of the day, grab a book and curl-up on the outdoor sofa as the stars sparkle overhead or lounge in the hot-tub.
The Master Bedroom has a Queen bed, 32' Flat Screen TV and boasts an all new connecting bathroom with Spa-like shower and dual modern vanities. The first Guest Bedroom also has a Queen bed, 32' Flat Screen TV and it too has a connecting all new modern bathroom with a super-cool shower. The Third Bedroom is bright and cheery with two Twin Beds. The 1/2 bath Powder room is convenient to all rooms in the house.
Though there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, the Kitchen has all new appliances (including a gas range, oven and microwave) and an adjacent Dining area for those meals spent at home.
Feeling the mid-century vibe, the Living room has plenty of seating with 42' Flat Screen TV with Blu-ray DVD player and portable Stereo System (for MP3 player hook-up.)
The Pool is ideal for those lazy days, with plenty of lounge seating available in the sun or in the shade. Gaze at the stars from the newly installed hot tub.
In the attached two car garage are two bikes for your use for trips into town or a spin around the quiet neighborhood. Uptown Design District shops and restaurants are nearby - Toucans, Ricks Desert Grill, The Riveria Resort & Spa are all a short walk away.
Close to everything! One mile to downtown. Convenient to Victoria Park & Ruth Hardy Park with playgrounds, open space and tennis. Near grocery stores, world-famous Aerial-Tram, El Paseo shopping, Cabazon Outlets, Museums, Casinos and more.
Great for families, couples, low-key getaways.
No pets, no smoking. Concierge service available upon request including airport pick-up.

We wish we had stayed longer
We wish we had stayed longer
We loved this house! 4 friends and I stayed here for (unfortunately) only 4 nights whilst we attended the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. We loved the house and the location - we all agreed by the end of the holiday that 4 nights was not enough. It was a home away from home - actually that's a lie, my London flat doesn't have a pool or hot tub, but it truly had all the amenities you could need for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. It was perfect for having a really social time - breakfasts together by the pool and post-festival drinks on the alfresco sofa. The house was spotlessly clean and the shower in the master bedroom was the biggest and best shower I have ever seen (my boyfriend actually preferred this bathroom, actually the whole stay, to the suite we had at The Venetian a few nights previously). The location was great 2 as it was a few minutes drive from the Palm Springs 'strip' where we enjoyed an evening meal and a great Sunday brunch (and mimosas). We were treating this as a once in a lifetime holiday but we loved Coachella and this house so much, that we're already speaking about doing it all over again next year - although next time we'll spend at least a whole week at this house. The booking was easy to do and Carol so considerate and helpful, you couldn't ask for more.

The house was all that we were looking for and more. The kids lived in the pool. We loved how a section of the pool was covered providing shade on the hotter days and house provided protection from the wind so that even on the windiest days there wasn't even a ripple on the water. The house itself was very nice and the layout was great. Everything was very clean and when minor issued happened the property manager was very quick to show up and fix it. The owner was very kind and easy to work with and was quick to respond back and answer the dumbest questions. The bikes were very nice to have access to, I wish I had brought my tools so I could tune them up as a thank you. I would most definitely come back and stay here again. All three generations had a wonderful time.

Owner response: So glad you enjoyed your respite in the sunshine and we could accommodate all three generations! The shaded area of the pool is especially nice for the little ones. Glad you made use of the bikes and thanks for the tip - a tune-up will be forthcoming.
Our family really loves relaxing, grilling, swimming & exploring in and around Palm Springs. Carol's place is fantastic for this. The house is ideal for a family and we look forward to our return. This modern house is comfortable & beautiful, and it has all conveniences one would expect and more that travelers would appreciate. I cannot say enough good things about this home, the location, and the ease with which it was communicating with the owners regarding our stay. Very special.

Our sunny oasis
Our sunny oasis
This is our second time staying in the lovely Miraleste home. We loved it so much last year that we returned again this year. We have 3 children and this is a perfect home for families. It's nice enough that you feel like you're treating yourself, but not so filled with breakable items that you're in a panic all the time. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. With the heated pool, the kids swam morning, noon, and night. Carol is so easy to work with and is always available to answer your questions. I highly recommend this wonderful home.

Owner response: Happy you could stay with us again! And less uneventful for you than last year ;-) With parks nearby and the heated pool. I must say, I even have a hard time pulling myself away to explore all the the Valley has to offer for families. Hope to see you next year!
Thank you Carol and Rich for sharing your gorgeous home with us. Everything was taken care of including DVDs, board games, bikes in the garage, and even pool toys! The house was extremely roomy and was very well decorated. We would have even had a great time if we decided to stay in all weekend. We can't wait to go back!

We were very lucky to call this place home for a month last August. I miss my coffee in the morning sun under the tree in the rocking chair! A very nice house, tastefully decorated and stocked with so much eye for detail. Beautiful quiet street and convenient location. Beds, sofa's, outdoor lounge-set all very high quality and comfortable. All the basics like detergent, tissues, condiments are there and refilled when neccesary. Especially the garden and porch area are a large plus compared to other properties. It provides ample shade when the sun gets too much for you. We can recommend this property to anyone and owner Carol and caretaker Steward are doing a great job and are very pleasant to communicate with. We have rented houses in Florida the past 9 years, but California and this house will make us come back next year! Dick & Pablo Amsterdam

Everything was just excellent!
Everything was just excellent!
This house and property has it all! Everything and more. We have rented some houses throughout the years and this house is by far the best. When we cooked we had everything we needed and I think that is the first time ever. Carol was so nice and helpful all the time and the housekeeper was also more than helpful and nice when he came by one day. Everything is well taken care of and the bedrooms, bathrooms and living room is so nicely decorated - done with care! We loved spending time there and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset on the sunbeds by the pool! And not forget the bbq! Just great!! If I must say one negative thing it must be that the pool has some cracks in it and that it is somewhat dirty (greasy) just above waterlevel in the pool. But all in all a super week for our family and we would love to come back and will recommend it to everyone who are thinking of staying in Palm Springs!! It is even better in real life than on the pictures. Thank you!

My in laws, my husband and our two children (7 and 5) spent a wonderful week relaxing here! Home has 2 masters (one much larger but we did fine with the smaller one) which worked great for us. We ordered and picked up food almost nightly as great restaurants only 5 min away and enjoyed while the kids slept (since they were exhausted by swimming all day). We did grill out one night and enjoyed sitting at the bar drinking wine while grilling! Pool was great. We paid for heating and it was plenty warm for kids on the warmer days. My father in law enjoyed the hot tub. He uses a cane and the one story house was great for him. We gave them the larger Master for ease of using the shower and they found it very comfortable. Kids room was perfect with the twins and just right size for them. Owner was very responsive (even when stranded herself while traveling with no phone battery!) and a pleasure to work with. Appeared even nicer than the pictures. We will be returning.

Owner response: Thank you for staying with us. I am glad you and your extended family enjoyed the house and the surrounding area. If you can get the kids out of the water next time, two parks are nearby and The Living Desert & Children's Museum are also good options for a break from the sun. We love the MB shower too - it's spa-like and yes, the step-in makes it easily accessible (the guest bath is also a step-in). Come visit us again!
A delightful home, where the pictures show exactly how the house is. We loved everyone of our three days here, and wished we were staying longer. It is extremely comfortable, and we so enjoyed all the outside areas, and cooking at the barbecue. We also loved all the little touches, such as the bottle of wine and the toiletries. We are already trying to plan when to return (hopefully next year) so that we can enjoy staying here again. Lastly, all my emails to Carol and Rich (the owners) were answered so promptly, I would have no hesitation recommending this property to friends and relatives.

A Desert Oasis
A Desert Oasis
We spent a lovely long Thanksgiving weekend at this home and are already checking our calendars for when we can possibly get back. Carol and Rich, the owners, have thought of everything -- from leaving a bottle of wine and sparkling water as a welcome to providing kitchen basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, detergent -- all stuff one usually has to buy in a vacation rental. The house itself is immaculate and decorated by someone with a fabulous eye for mid-century hip. The beds are comfy, the sheets are soft and the bathrooms are delightful retreats on their own -- with lovely tile and top-of-the-line hardware. The house is also toddler-friendly. We had to move a few knick-knacks out of reach and make sure the sliding door to the pool was locked at all times, but there's plenty of room for little walkers to zoom around the main house area. There are also two nearby parks -- one in walking distance and another a 5-minute drive away, both perfect for kids. The Uptown Design District is nearby with a full roster of restaurants to choose from, though the home's gourmet kitchen may just tempt you to cook something at home and sit by the pool with a glass of wine while it's simmering. The wi-fi works like a charm in every room and outside and the owners are extremely responsive to emails. You won't regret booking a few days at this lovely Palm Springs home.

Why the Owner Chose Racquet Club Estates:
Palm Springs is so convenient to our full-time residence but worlds away! As soon as we get to the outskirts of town, we start to relax. Palm Springs offers everything we need in a getaway, even if we just choose to stay by the pool, without being to busy or touristy.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
If we can tear ourselves away from the backyard and pool, we love how accessible we are to many restaurants, shops, outdoor activities and community events which are all so close to our home. We love taking the bikes down to Koffi and to Ruth Hardy Park in the morning. We can't get enough of the mountain views and star gazing at night from the backyard.
