We’d love for you to come and experience the beauty of our home and the local area. The house is custom designed to take advantage of the stunning 180 degree views. The unique design features a large wrap around deck which is wonderful for entertaining, enjoying beautiful sunsets, enjoying the ever changing river winding by and watching hummingbirds and finches in the summer.
Golfers: Fall & Spring are beautiful in Chelan for golfing. Come over and enjoy the perfect weather. We're close to Desert Canyon, Bear Mountain, and the Chelan City Course. Alta Lake and Bridgeport are about 40 minutes away.
The 3 story design features 4 bedrooms with a bathroom on each floor. The top floor is the master suite with a King-size bed, bathroom with a jetted soaking tub and a large walk through double shower. The main floor has a bedroom with a Queen-size bed and a 1/2 bath just outside the door. The bottom floor bedroom has a Queen-size bed with a full bathroom. The family room on the bottom floor has a river rock gas fireplace with a theater featuring a 10' screen. It also has French doors out on to the patio with the pool and hot tub. There is a hide a bed in the family room as well. The main floor has a beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops, Dacor double oven, Dacor 5 burner cook top with down draft and all stainless steel appliances. The kitchen features a large bar and lots of counter space. The living room has a gas fireplace and an 8' picture window looking down river, perfect for seeing the sunset.
There is a second family room with adjacent bedroom that connects through to the master suite on the top floor. Perfect for having younger children close by. This family room also features a projector and 6' movie screen with ample room for an air bed or just to throw out sleeping bags for the kids.
The house sits above the Columbia River on 10 acres with sweeping views of the Columbia River, orchards, and Chelan Butte. The landscape is immaculate with over an acre of lawn. Feel free to bring your Frisbee, bocci ball, badminton, volleyball, croquet set, or whatever outdoor fun you'd like enjoy
To accentuate the natural beauty, the 33’ x 15' swimming pool, large CalSpa hot tub, and patio area is a favorite for all that come to enjoy our place and Chelan’s beautiful weather. Spend a lazy afternoon floating in the pool, working on your tan, listening to the outdoor music, and sipping on your favorite drink. From the pool you have a full view of the Columbia River as well. (Pool is open May-September).
There is a caretaker's cottage on the estate. We ensure that the pool and grounds are well cared for during your stay.
It’s close enough to the town of Chelan to enjoy the local wineries and attractions, including Slidewaters Water Park, yet far enough from town to truly relax and enjoy the tranquility of a well-deserved vacation. Enjoy sitting on the deck while reading and taking in the breathtaking view of the Columbia River. You’re sure to see beautiful sunsets over Chelan Butte and a sky full of stars at night. Watch the hang gliders and paragliders float down to Beebe Bridge Park. Get out the binoculars and watch the hawks and bald eagles sore on the breeze. Head out in your boat for great waterskiing and wakeboarding on the Columbia River or Lake Chelan.
Lake Chelan offers many rentals for boats and jet skis. You can also take a boat ride on the Lady of the Lake from Chelan to the town of Stehekin at the end of the 55 mile, glacier fed lake. You’ll see wildlife and natural fjords as you journey up lake.
If you love to golf, Desert Canyon Golf Course is just 20 minutes away or Bear Mountain Golf Course is about 30 minutes away. Looking to go wine tasting? There are more than a dozen wineries nearby, such as Tsillian Cellars, Benson, Nefarious, Tunnel Hill, Rio Vista, Vin du Lac, Karma, Rio Vista and many more.

I can't say enough about our amazing stay at the Riverview Estate over Labor Day weekend, 2012. I couldn't have asked for a more impeccable home with all the amenities you could ever want. From the moment we arrived, Jay and Kay were the most accomodating hosts...always there when we needed them, but not to the point where we felt like they were checking on us or invading our privacy. The house lends itself so well to just relaxing, sunbathing, eating out by the pool, and playing games in the expansive lawn. Downtown Chelan is just a short drive away, but honestly, we felt no need to leave our little slice of paradise...the pool, the view, the amazing sound system throughout the house made it so we never wanted to leave! I celebrated my birthday here with my husband and closest friends, and I have to say it was the best birthday yet. Thank you Jay and Kay for being such wonderful hosts. We can't wait to come back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

On a scale of 5 stars - Riverview Estate is a 6!! It's not always easy finding a rental home that is suitable for young kids (we have 2 kids under 4 y/o). But, Joe and Kay's amazing home could not have been more perfect. We stayed at Riverview Estate for a long weekend getaway and from the second we arrived, we did not want to leave! The home is immaculate, spacious and filled with amenities - large gourmet kitchen; not one but TWO large theater rooms; a swimming pool & hottub; the perfect lawn for flying a kite or a game of soccer; a basketball hoop; and the most spectacular view of the Columbia River and surrounding landscape. When not relaxing at the house, we enjoyed exploring the town of Chelan (just a short drive away) and would highly recommend taking the scenic drive to family-friendly Blueberry Hills in Manson for brunch - the smiley face waffles were worth it! Would also recommend hidden Lakeside City Park (behind the Best Western) - it was the perfect spot for exploring the beach, having a picnic lunch under the shady trees and even has a small play area for kids. Joe and Kay were gracious hosts - very welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had about the house or the area. We'd recommend Riverview Estate to anyone headed to Chelan and can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

Great place to celebrate a loved one's landmark birthday,wedding anniversary or Family Get-together. We had a wonderful time at the Riverview estates. The house and grounds were beautiful. Our family had such a good time in the pool and also playing volley ball, badmitton, soccer, flying kites, etc on the expansive yard. It was also nice to have the "movie" room so when it really got hot the kids could stay cool and watch their favorite movies. All ages enjoyed the space including Grandpa and Grandma, Moms and Dads, and 6 grandkids. It was a great place to reconnect and just chill out. The men golfed one day while the rest of us enjoyed miniature golf in Chelan. One afternoon was spent at the water slides in town. We didn't do much else because we had such a good time at the house. Joe and Kay were very hands on and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. We would love to come back....The views from the house were spectacular!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We were a group of ten adults and six kids celebrating my 50th birthday. The house and grounds were spotless when we arrived. While the online photos look wonderful, they really don’t do the property justice, they’re even better in person. The river views from the deck and pool are gorgeous. Joe and Kay were more than helpful, and there when we needed them, otherwise, we really didn’t even know they were there. When the gas grill stopped working on our first night, Joe replaced it the next day in plenty of time for dinner! Some of the highlights of our stay were days by the pool and cooking big family dinners in the spacious fully appointed kitchen. The kids loved the big screen in the family room downstairs, watching DVD’s was a great break for them after a long day in the pool. We all truly enjoyed our stay and are already talking about when we can go back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

Our stay was very good, Joe and Kay were always close by to help us out if we needed anything. Very comfortable and lovely home and property. Close to downtown Chelan, The Columbia River (beautiful view) and a few different boat launches. They have everything you would need to be relaxed...all the amenities of a hotel and more. Only problems were very aggressive bees (but Joe and Kay helped us get rid of most of them) and problems with the projection screen TV and audio for the TV's on the main level.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property is great for just lounging around and enjoying the weather during the day. In the evening time, there are 2 HUGE projector rooms where you can enjoy watching movies. I love the fact that this place has a good size area to play basketball. The owners Joe and Kay are very welcoming and greet you when you arrive. They have 2 properties on the lot so you'll see them from time to time but they are no bother during the stay. Property is very clean and well maintained. You definetly get what you see in the posting!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

Joe and Kay's home is a gem! We just wrapped up an amazing 3 night stay with a big group of friends (some of which hadn't seen each other in years)! This house has plenty of space, and is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The views were great and our group of 13 spent most of our time in or around the pool. With such a large property and beautiful weather, we hardly wanted to leave the place. The perfect distance from town, we were able to wine taste, grocery shop, and grab a bite to eat. We are looking forward to our next trip to this home!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thia house is gorgeous! We had a very relaxing girls weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. The owners, Joe and Kay, were there to help us with anything we needed. Upon arrival, we were treated with a sweet note, bottle of local wine, and coffee. Around the house were helpful tips explaining how to work different appliances. Everything in the house was modern and beautiful. We especially enjoyed laying by the saltwater pool. The location is so close to Beebe Bridge that we were able to go into chelan very easily to go wine tasting and grocery shopping. We will definitely be coming back. My friends and I had a lovely 3 night stay. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, eat and of course have fun. The best parts about this house are the salt water pool, hot tub, 2 media rooms and the incredible view. We will be back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
