The dock in the back yard can accommodate a boat up to 26' if you want to bring your own vessel and is ideal for crabbing, fishing, or launching your canoe or kayak. There is decking adjacent to the dock for sunning or just relaxing and watching wildlife or boats gliding past.
After enjoying the day at South Bethany Beach, you can relax and watch the sunset over the preserve from the deck or during an evening stroll alongside the canal. The house overlooks Jefferson Bay and several small islands and beyond to Assawoman Bay. It's a perfect area for bird watching, paddling a canoe or kayaking, and exploring. Located in a quiet resort community, many of the streets are lined with large shade trees and are ideal for walking, running, and biking. This vacation rental is just minutes from downtown Bethany Beach, area beaches, Fenwick Island State Park, and bay side recreation at Assawoman Bay and Wildlife Area. Rentals include two parking passes for any of the South Bethany Beaches.
South Bethany Beach is part of the Quiet Resorts, a seven-mile stretch of sandy, Atlantic Ocean beaches in the southeastern corner of Delaware that also includes Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island.

About the owner: We are new owners of this lovely canal front home. We love to spend the day at the beach but also enjoy the beautiful view of the wildlife preserve visible from our deck. Our other recreational interests include kayaking, canoeing, biking and jogging.
