The house was perfect for our 3 families. So many common areas yet very private bedroom/bath combos. There was nothing missing. Our stay was memorable for ages 4 to 65!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great stay at Kiawah

Excellent beach house. Plenty of room for the family to spread out. Very well appointed and comfortable. Would have given all 5 stars, but the ice maker didn't work and wasn't fixed while we stayed there. Otherwise, everything was terrific.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Owner response: We are sorry for the apparent miscommunication in regards to the ice maker. We did not receive any calls about a problem with the ice maker at this property and it was working before your arrival and after your departure. We are glad that you enjoyed the house and had a great time on the island. Thank you for your feedback and we hope you will stay with us again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation at 404 Amaranth. It was a short walk or bike ride to the Beach. The home had plenty of room with it's 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Carpenting leading to the upstairs bedrooms could use a cleaning and the Master bath shower needs to be redone to rid it of the mildew. However these were minor things when compared to the overall property and while disappointing we realize are likely a challange to stay on top of with Rental property. Kiawah and this location was great for our 3 teanage children.

We have been vacationing at Kiawah Island for 28 years. Your company has streamlined the arrival process. The lockbox on the rental unit,so we did not have to stop at an office, was appreciated. The extra two keys inside made it easy for our family to come and go as we all pleased especially when we went to different destinations. The towels were thick and fluffy and the sheets and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and all of the appliances worked well. All of the rooms were clean and functional. We had four generations represented and all of us loved this rental and how well it was set up. Thank you for quickly sending us the Kiawah gate passes and rental packet and answering our emails promptly. It was a pleasure doing business with your company. Thank you.

Everything was as advertised. We had an issue with a parking pass that we sent to a couple that was lost in our mailing; but, the staff was very prompt in issuing another one. I will definitely be back again!

The propety was eay to find, very clean and spacious,very spacious which was good for my Mom who is wheelchair bound. There were planned activities for the children and they enjoyed the beach which was so close. The towels were some of the sofest I have ever used while vacationing and there was more than an abundance of them . The beds were comfortable and my brother throughly enjoyed napping on the couch. Our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Amaranth, Kiawah Island

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Bedrooms were great and each family had their own privacy. The house was perfect in layout. Lots of room for everyone and lots of places to split up if desired. The children could be noisy in one room, while adults could talk in an other area or if necessary, find quiet space to complete job demands on laptop computers. We had 4 laptops and all worked well any place in the house. Location to the beach was ideal. Five minute walk or 5 minute bike ride, whichever we chose. The bikes took time to lock up, so walking worked out better. Would recommend to anyone. Entire family was very please. Kiawah Island is a treasure, glad we chose to be there.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Every year I have brought the families of two daughters from Gatlinburg TN and Columbia, SC to Kiawah for a week. The house's design is easy to live with and promoted privacy and 's proximity to the beach was a pleasent surprise. Unlike earlier rentals the house was clean and neat on arrival.We shall return.
