My son and I vacationed over Thanksgiving weekend. We arrived Thanksgiving Day and had packed everything to cook our Thanksgiving meal (crockpot and utensils, included!) once we arrived. I was very pleasantly surprised to arrive and find that I didn't even need to pack a crockpot because one was already there! THAT'S an example of how well-stocked this home is! The cabin and furnishings are beautiful and very comfortable, the view is breathtaking and to sit on the porch and listen to the rushing river is just awesome! It's a relatively short drive to town, yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Additionally, we were able to bring our small dog with us (who is a member of our family)! The owner's of the property are wonderful to work with as well! I couldn't have asked for better accommodations! We had an amazing few days and I would highly recommend this to anyone!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

travel directions were easy to follow and entry into property excellent. adequate parking. house is huge and accommadated my family of 8 comfortably. having the mini kitchen downstairs in addition to full kitchen was a great convience. also using the grill and the outdoor balcony, porch and picnic area gave us lots of options and room to eat. we really enjoyed fishing in the on-property pond as well as wading and tubing in the river. we enjoyed ruby mining near by as well as visiting the nearby places of cherokee and briceson city for zip lining. this rental was quite a pleasant surprise from some of the others we have had in that the furnishings were done completely as if i were walking into a fully furnished home,. all we needed were our personal belongings. this is a place we will return to year after year. i recommended this property to all my frends and family.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
