The Cascade Village #348 is very comfortable, has good basic amenities, and is very clean. The saga of the skillets another reviewer mentions has been solved, but look in the drawer under the oven for a excellent quality Circulon replacement. The king size bed was great. The village is sizable, but it was nice and quiet in June. The owner is very gracious and offers some nice perks besides. It merits five stars for value, but unfortunately for us there were just too many stairs for anyone with knee problems.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We lucked out to book this condo at the last minute so we could participate in the Ironhorse biking event. At first we were disappointed that the hotels in the town were full. As we were driving through the beautiful mountains and arrived at this very nice condo we realized we had actually gotten lucky. Rich was great to work with and arranged for us to play golf at the spectacular Glacer Club Golf Course. We had dinner at the Old Schoolhouse and it was a ton of fun. This home was clean and comfortable. We will definitely return to Durango and will do our best to stay in this condo.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

The facility is in very beautiful area and the unit is comfortable. We were not happy with the dirty toilet bowel and the skillet in the kitchen is useless, warped and burnt. The supplies were skimmpyRecommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks, for your helpfull input. The skilett has been replaced. The only supplies we supply are an initial supply toilet paper, paper towels,kleenix, dish soap , dishwasher soap and hand soap. I will make sure my instructions to the renters cover this. As for the toilet bowl, the water is very hard and has stained the bowl, it was sanitized for your arrival. Please do stay with us again. Rich Reedy
