  This was the best cabin we have stayed at yet. They had everything you would ever need. My kids had to take a bath in the soaking tub everynight! We knew from the other reviews that there was no beach/swimming at the cabin, but the beach is a 2 minute drive from the house and was VERY nice! I would highly recommend this cabin. The only thing we wished they had was a picnic table/patio table to eat outside!

  This is a great cabin with all the amenities you can think of for a secluded property in the northwoods. There is public ramp nearby and the cabin's boat dock is basically new with electric hook-up close by in the shed. The outdoor grill, untensils, fire pit, dishwater, gas range, wash/dryer, furniture, etc. was better than excepted. Highly recommend and we've already locked up the same week for next year. John was very pleasant to deal with and had a genuine interest in our needs for a great vacation.

  This cabin was perfect. Nine of us stayed there comfortably -- five adults, two teens and two young children. It was very clean and well-appointed. The kitchen was loaded with every gadget you would have in your own home and the grill started on the first click. There is a game cabinet -- we added a puzzle, so think of us when you put it together. The master closet is bigger than my son's room at home and he slept in there. At first we were disappointed because we couldn't swim (clear water, but weedy bottom and no beach), but we discovered a swimming beach nearby. The shoreline had natural barriers that kept our young children from dashing into the water. The expansive lawn was perfect for bocce and ladder ball, which we had brought along. There is another house nearby, but those people weren't there, so we enjoyed a secluded, family-focused vacation. Thanks to the owners for sharing their getaway!

  This cabin was better than we expected from the listing photos & discription. So we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin & property was extremely clean, which we appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, pans & so on. In fact, this is the best stocked kitchen we have ever rented. A deer passing through the backyard on two evenings was a real treat. Fishing off the dock & making smores on the firepit....all great fun. We enjoyed the soaking tub in the master bedroom, too. The deck across the back of the house facing the lake was a great place to relax & enjoy the beautiful view. John was very helpful in answering questions or concerns. We would of course recommend this property to friends or relatives.
