My husband and I have just returned to Canada after spending a wonderful 2 months this winter in Moona. We loved this lovely, modern condo with its 2 large ensuites and spacious loft that easily accommodated us and our guests. Its many patio doors and windows opening onto the large deck provided us the tropical outdoor living which we had hoped to find. The pool area is beautiful and immaculately kept! Cooking quesadillas on 6-burner gas stove griddle provided entertainment and snacks for our grandchildren after we dragged them out of the pool, while the large barbeque looked after other culinary endeavours. Kitchen equipment is limited, but with some creativity we served all of us. 24/7 security is provided and at all times we felt totally safe . Between staff, the landlord and the other renter/owners, we couldn’t have felt more welcome. We spent many evenings on the rooftop patio, dazzled by the sunsets, a photographer’s dream. The ocean can be viewed from the balcony, as well as the roof top patio. It is only a short 2-block walk to the incredible beach. Bucerias is a lovely little Mexican village and Moona is within walking distance of many great restaurants. Typical Mexican markets will satisfy the souvenir gatherers. We often used the small, local stores for fresh produce and a short bus/cab ride took us to a larger supermarket. Taking common sense precautions, we felt very safe wandering around the village, taking the bus into PV or to neighbouring villages. We can’t wait to return next year!
