This light and airy ranch home features a large, fully equipped, eat-in kitchen with views of the lake & the lighthouse, large open living room and dining room overlooking the expansive patio, spacious master bedroom with king bed & bathroom, large bedroom with queen bed and twin, & 2 other bedrooms with twin beds (2 in 1 bedroom, 1 in the other), 2.25 baths (3 rooms: one with tub/shower, sink & toilet; second with sink and shower; 3rd with toilet & sink).
It's a quick & easy walk out the front door & 1 block to the blue stairs leading to south beach! Our large backyard sits on a cul-de-sac with short walk to Kid's Corner Park and loads of playground equipment & grassy areas for the children to enjoy. Or walk or bike to the South Haven downtown area restaurants and shops.
Watch spectacular sunsets over the lake from our large front porch, enjoy outdoor living on our beautiful, private flagstone patio with new grill, and relax in our inviting family vacation home!

Our favorite part of our stay were the countless beautiful sunsets we witnessed while looking right out over Lake Michigan from the front yard of this comfortable ranch style home. The 5 year old loved the quick access to the fun playground at kids corner. The Teens enjoyed quick and easy access to the beach (just a few minutes walk) and or a quick drive into downtown. The "Tween" loved beach combing and Granny enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with awesome lighthouse and lake views from the kitchen. When a break from cooking was in order a full variety of restaurants are a few minutes drive from downtown South Haven. The owners have their place set up to give you that "home away from home feel" you deserve while on vacation. This is perfect for multigenerational families with all ages. You'll want to book year after year as you make the best kind of memories....time spent together on the beach in a comfortable setting.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We have loved vacationing with our children in South Haven since 1980, and finally found the perfect home to purchase across the street from Lake Michigan with beautiful views of the lake, pier and sunsets. We only have a short walk to the blue stairs to the beach for swimming, relaxing and walks along the sand. Our children spent several weeks every summer at Lake Michigan, and we hope to come here with our grandchildren for years to come.

We bought this house as our future retirement home, and offer it as a perfect family vacation home. It's convenient to get to from anywhere in Michigan & Chicago, Illinois via US 94, and Indiana via the toll road & US 31.
