Lanai has outdoor dining for 8, lovely cushion chairs and 2 loungers for sunbathing, bird watching and sunset dreaming.
Large garage has loads of beach towels and blanket, beach chairs, coolers, etc. We have traveled all over the world - but we love it here!!!
The canal and dock in the back yard will lead you to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico as well as Sanibel and Captiva Islands. There are many types of power boats available for daily or weekly rental.
Two minutes from Publix Supermarket, Walgreens, McDonalds and other retailers. Four minutes to Cape Harbour restaurants and marina. ten minutes to Cape Coral Country Club, excellent library, mini Walmart, etc.

Our one-month stay at "The Pink Palace" was a great experience in every way. The house proved to be very comfortable, convenient, and relaxing. It is well equipped, nicely laid out, and located in a pleasant neighborhood. The owners, Jay and Yvonne, took a personal interest in our stay and were responsive to every request. They take obvious pride in maintaining it well and doing everything they can to make renters feel "at home." The house is in a pleasant, scenic, quiet location, near the intersection of two canals. The water in the delightful pool was kept at a comfortable temperature at all times. We ate almost every meal on the lanai, at poolside, though we also enjoyed restaurants in the area. It was a great base from which to explore SW Florida, including the beaches on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Naples, Fort Myers Beach and a corner of the Everglades. Other delightful experiences were the Farmer's Market in Cape Coral and the Flea Market in Fort Myers. Our little dog, Bella, also seemed to enjoy the house and its environment immensely. The neighborhood is dog-friendly, great for walks. All in all, it provided a really wonderful alternative to the snow and ice of the Great Lakes region. We look forward to returning to Jay and Yvonne's rental some day and recommend it highly, without qualifications, to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

Our time at this house in Cape Coral was just what we hoped. The house is wonderful. It is nicely furnished and decorated with great art work throughout. The house was very clean and well maintained. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a canal just a few feet behind the house and pool. We spent most of our time in and by the pool. Fishing in the canal was great. Several times we ate at the Lobster Lady Seafood Market and Bistro. Other times we got their carry-out. We were able to take along our Beagle, who also felt right at home. Jay and Yvonne, the owners, were pleasant and helpful, even calling us after we settled in to make sure all was okay. We would highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone looking for a comfortable, attractive place to stay away from home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

Excellent Cape Coral residential location, convenient to shopping, Cape Harbor Marina, Ft. Myers and Sanibel Island, dining and boating activities. Owners were extremely helpful and so easy to work! We found everything with the house and pool to be as promised. Beautiful canal setting; peaceful and quiet. We would stay again, but we purchased our own piece of paradise in a nearby neighborhood.Recommended for: Age 55+.

We, a family of 4, stayed in this house in August 2011 for almost 12 days. Our daughter immediatly fell in love with the nice pink outside of the house, we very much enjoyed this comfortable house with 2 living areas ( we only used one), its 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and above all the great pool area. The house has a very good location, you have a lot of privacy and it is located directly on the canal. It is very well equipped, offers free wifi and is only a few blocks away from a large Publix store for your day to day shopping. The Cape Coral area offers a lot of excursions ans scenic routes, we could easily stayed another week. Our thanks also to the owners of the house, Jay and Yvonne, who where very flexible with our reservation dates when, due to flight delays, we arrived 2 days later than originally booked! Upon arrival we where welcomed by their local agent Christel who gave us some usefull tips of the area! All together it was a great holiday and we would not hesitate to come back again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

My family vacationed her in April of this year. The house and location was wonderful. Everything you could ask for and more. The rental management and owners are great to work with and we will be back on a yearly basis!! On the downside, I would say this home is not young child friendly. The furniture and decor is superb, but not toddler friendly. Was very glad I did not have my youngest along. The entire rest of the family loved every moment and did not want to leave!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation home experience!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We enjoyed everything from the area beaches to quiet nights under the stars and in the pool by the canals.The kids have asked if we can make this an every year tradition! We have absolutely no complaints. Your agent Christel was wonderful and very helpful. We did catch a couple of fish in the canal and hooked something big but could not bring it in. What a relief to find everything in the home just as good as described. We loved the pool and large pool area and the sunsets in the evening with a gentle breeze was all one could ask for. Although we did not cook a lot - when we did the kitchen, dinnerware and utensils were first rate -all appliances were brand new and all was well. As the very first guest - I was so happy to enter the home and see the bright cheery decorating, the crisp white tile floors, the colorful bedrooms and the water view across the pool and the canals. The kitchen had all one could ask for and much more. The end of each day was spent on the lanai by the pool watching the sunset off the waters and enjoying the ever changing panorama of the wonders of nature. About the owner: We have run an American/European import company for many years and have had the chance to travel a great deal. Yet we love spending time right here with the sunny skies, beautiful pool and near the ocean and the world class beaches. We are animal lovers and do what we can to make their lives better.

Cape Coral is easy to reach by air or expressway - it has every outdoor activity we enjoy and we dont have to leave the USA to feel that we are in a tropical location
Key West and Orlando/Disney are actually available as day trips
The Unique Benefits at this House:
My favorite day is a round of golf on the championship layout nearby, a cool dip in the pool and a cold drink watching the sun go down over the pool and the canal. How can you beat that?
Yvonne loves sunning at the beach, picking up a few treasured shells on Sanibel and finding other treasures at the local outlet malls.
