Enjoy our spacious, bright and airy three bedroom two bath cottage with large landscaped yard. A 2-3 minute walk will take you to the entrance to the wide, sandy Lake Michigan beach. Beach chairs and towels are provided.
Relax or read on the chaise, rocker or sofa on the sun porch which is nestled in the pines, and overlooks the sunny yard. Play croquet or badminton in the large yard. Or chill out in the living room with TV or a DVD. The living room has an L-shaped sofa and several chairs. On chilly nights you may want to build a fire and toast marshmallows in the wood-burning fire-place.
Eat your meals at the large table and cushioned chairs on the screened porch overlooking deck and yard or at the umbrella table and chairs on the deck, or at the table in the kitchen. The kitchen is modern and bright, with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of counter-space and cooking utensils for your meals. The laundry room has a washer and dryer to keep up with the wet towels.
The master bedroom suite has a queen size bed and full private bath. In addition there is a door to the screened porch and deck. There are two additional bedrooms that share the hall bath. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two twins. There is also a sofa bed on the sun porch. Linens are all provided.
Walk to the grocery/party store or deli for supplies, or eat at one of the many restaurants in the area. The Red Arrow road house, the Casual Chef and Tuscany are all walking distance, and many other wonderful restaurants are nearby. Art Galleries, boutiques, and antiquing opportunities abound. Visit farms and orchards. Picking your own fruit is always fun. Hike in the woods or Michigan City's large outlet center. Boat and kayak rental is nearby.
Blue Hydrangea Cottage is named for the many Hydrangea Plants whose Cheery Blue Flowers will bloom all summer. Feel free to cut some for the table!

Holiday weeks (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) $2500.+ taxes and cleaning fee.
Security/reservation deposit will secure your reservation. It is refundable after you leave the cottage in excellent condition. The cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
Payment for the cottage is due 6 weeks before your arrival.
