Embraced by a Sierra forest of cedars and pines, this spacious, 2,000 square foot, cabin-style home is perfect for a large group's vacation. Cathedral ceilings, knotty-pine walls, abundant windows and a wood-burning stove add to this cabin's warm, woodsy, rustic feel. WI-FI and cable tv. A well-stocked kitchen and room to roam make your vacation comfortable and enjoyable. Mi-Wuk Village is located off Hwy 108 at 4,600 feet elevation.
This is a fantastic place to vacation any time of year. Mi-Wuk Village is 15 miles from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and Pinecrest Lake. These are family-oriented destinations that accomodate most water and snow activities. Hiking is available for a variety of ability levels; the Emigrant Wilderness is nearby, and Yosemite is 65 miles away. There is golfing and shopping in Twain Harte and Sonora. This clean, comfy cabin makes a great "home base" for adventurous vacationers. In addition, this cabin works beautifully as a "main attraction" for those who wish to sit back and enjoy the serenity. We are located on a very quiet street. There is basketball in the driveway, a front porch, back deck and a large, fenced-in backyard with a playhouse, volleyball and badminton!
You will love the big, beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. It's ideal for multiple chefs. The kitchen is open to the dining room, which makes for easy socializing with the spectators. The dining room opens out to the back deck which has seating and a barbecue. The living room has cathedral ceilings, a wood-burning stove (wood provided), and three sofas (one is a hide-a-bed). The living room has an additional table with chairs; a great spot for going online, playing a game or setting up a puzzle. There is also cable TV/VCR/DVD, and a stereo with a CD player. The main level bedroom has been set up especially, but not exclusively, for kids. It has two bunkbeds and a tv/dvd. Overlooking the living room is a beautiful loft bedroom with one queen and one twin bed. Two more bedrooms and the second bathroom are located upstairs. The larger upstairs bedroom has two queen beds and a tv/dvd, the other has one queen bed.
There are two steps up to the front door, one step down into the kitchen and a wheelchair-friendly shower on the main level.
The kitchen is stocked with spices, cooking oil, paper towels, utensils, etc.. Plenty of blankets and pillows, toys, games, books and videos are supplied but... BRING YOUR OWN: SHEETS, PILLOWCASES, BATHROOOM AND KITCHEN TOWELS, CHARCOAL AND CALLING CARD. There is plenty of parking. The Mi-Wuk Village laundromat, convenience store, video rental, and a few restaurants are nearby.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days before the reservation date are fully refundable less a $25 cancellation fee.
Guests cancelling fewer than 30 days in advanced may be responsible for the basic cabin rental fee (no extra person fees, no cleaning fees) if the cabin can not be rented. If the cabin does rent, there is a $25 cancellation fee only that can be used as credit towards your next stay.

The cabin was exactly as pictured and described. Very spacious and well-stocked. I've rented quite a few cabins and this one was way near the top. Will, the owner answered all questions promptly, had a very informative check-in sheet and promptly returned my deposit. You can't miss here!

We had a blast here...a gathering of 3 families over the New Year! Perfect for relaxation, walking, skiing and just being together with friends....And yes, clean, clean, clean and spacious, spacious, spacious!

We had a great time at this cabin. It was our end of the summer celebration. Lots of room in the kitchen and dining room for us all to enjoy eating, or playing a game. Close enough for all our water activities at Pinecrest Lake. It was a blast!

This is a perfect family cabin for a restful vacation in the mountains. Everything was perfect when we arrived, and the location is ideal if you want to rest or explore the beautiful area. We loved the nearby lake, and we made two day trips into Yosemite Park.

The cabin was just what we hoped for - spacious, comfortable and family friendly. The yard was great fun for the kids and lots of outdoors hikes and beautiful places for summer time outings. Kitchen was great for big dinners.

Our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 teens) really enjoyed a President's Day Weekend stay at Spacious Cabin, which, as the name implies, comfortably accommodated us all. We especially liked the kitchen/dining area and amply stocked kitchen. The living room is quite spacious with wood-burning stove and clear cable reception. The parking pad fit all 3 cars nicely. Had superb snow conditions at Dodge Ridge ski resort. All in all, great accommodations.

A group of 10 ladies rented this cabin for a weekend it was beautiful. We loved sitting out on the new deck in the morning and evenings. The house was plenty big enough for all of us and our things without feeling crowded. The neighbor was really nice so we took in walks in the morning and night. Leah was great and very pleasant. We will be back again someday! THANKS!

This cabin was fantastic and everything was as it was advertised to be. There was so much room and it was a great place several families. Things were clean, the kitchen was well appointed and everything was very homey
