  Our family has been in Harvey Cedars for 40+ years. We needed additional space for a large family reunion last Thanksgiving, so we turned to VRBO. Dolphin Watch is well-located in HC and is just beautiful. The owners are friendly and communication was easy. Our only regret is that we have yet to meet them! Hurricane Sandy blew our reunion out of the water, so to speak, and we were kindly offered Easter week as an alternative (the house sustained zero storm damage thanks to the HC dunes!) The weather was beautiful! The kitchen is extremely well-appointed (we owe them a box of K-cups)! You need bring nothing other than food (grocery stores on Rt 72 prior to the causeway) and linens. The house was immaculate. We had rotating groups of relatives coming in and out and everyone was thrilled with their accomodations. There is a new gas grill on one of the decks which we were happy to christen! The beach toys for the kids were very popular, too. We can't say enough about Dolphin Watch. In fact, we hope to be repeat customers this Thanksgiving!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  This house was in great shape, and has a wonderful layout. The owners are super nice and happened to meet us at check-in to give us a quick tour. Also, they went out of their way after our trip to return some toys we had left behind. Our kids loved the house as there was plenty of space inside to play when we were not out at the beach. We'll definitely be back again.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  This home was ideally situated for a peaceful, 2-week vacation. Every convenience is at-the-ready. There was just enough activity on the island and just enough seclusion to make our stay enjoyable. Almost daily visits to the beach helped us retreat, relax, refresh and renew just like the artwork in your den advises. Thank you for providing such a welcoming place!

  This place was fantastic for our family get together (three generations of adults)! We love to cook, so we really enjoyed the well stocked, open floor plan kitchen with new high quality appliances. Having a deck with BBQ grill off the dining room was great, and the ‘reverse living’ set up was great for watching sunsets after dinner, and for hanging out on the one rainy day we had. The place was immaculate and very easy to keep clean. The two car garage came in handy for storing our toys – windsurfers, kayaks and bicycles. There were tennis courts very close by, as well as access to windsurfing and kayaking on the bay side. The owners were very pleasant and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return in the future.

  This is our second time renting this amazing house In Harvey Cedars. Our first year, we overpacked, thinking the house would be bare. We were wrong, the house is fully stocked with books, to board games, to bikes and beach toys, to a fully equipped kitchen. This year, we packed just as much, but that's because our family has grown with the addition of twin boys. The house is immaculate, both inside and out with every amenity one could ask for. The photos do not do this property justice, the home is so open and inviting. You can easily find a room or nook to spend some alone time with a great book, even with a house full of guests. The owners are great. They take great pride in their home and it shows. They walked us thru the house and spent time showing us where things where, how to use things etc. This house is a must for families. Great location, just steps to the beach. Amazing restaurants and attractions for the kids. Dolphin Watch has become a family tradition and we will continue to visit year after year.

  Fantastic amenities from the kitchen to the grill to the bikes to the beach chairs. We could totally relax because the house provided everything we needed. It is a bright, beautiful and spacious home that served our two families well. We had kids from elementary school all the way through college and there was enough room for everyone to spread out but still gather for meals, etc. We really enjoyed having the second media room where the kids could play games and watch movies. The lovely beach was a short walk from the house. Also close by were tennis courts and great restaurants/food shops. Darryl was on hand to greet us when we arrived and say goodbye when we left. He obviously loves his house and loves sharing it and that made the place feel like home instead of a rental. We would definitely come back!

  The home was clean & neat. Owner was most helpful is answering questions and showing features of their home. Short 2 minute walk to beautiful beach. No road to cross. I would recommend this properity for families. We had 5 children from 2 years to 9 years and they loved it as the lay out gave them a place to play but close enough for supervision.

  This is a fantastic house. Very clean and fully stocked. Great location, only a few steps to the beach. House comes with just about every beach amenity needed. Has several decks including two that are covered. Nice sized rooms. And a gorgeous fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family vacation. Would definitely recommend it anyone looking to rent a house on LBI.

  Wonderful, charming home with all the amenities. Very, very clean ; nicely furnished and appointed for our week. Variety of decks, 2 full -sized refrigerators, layout is perfect ofr family gathering or to find a quiet spot in the house. Great location to beaches that were spacious, groomed and not crowded. Nice family resort with assorted local restaurants, or takeout or ice cream, and shopping is nearby reachable via foot, bike, or car. Outside shower and other items provided for beach (chairs, umbrella) make it an easy packing trip

  our annual family vacation was spent at Dolphin Watch and it was fabulous. A picture is worth a thousand words and pictures of this wonderful home were totally accurate. We had eveything we could possibly need to love our week away - from spacious, clean bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen with all updated appliances, all necessary beach equipment from chairs to childrens' toys and a totally child friendly environment for our two grandsons to play in. Thank you, Darryl, for your hospitality and ease in making our vacation one to remember. Esther
