Welcome to our bright, open newly renovated 4 bedroom home in Holgate, NJ. The house sits 8 houses from the ocean on a quiet street. The inlet is across the street and you could sit on the couch in the living room or have a quiet drink on the deck and stare at the water while the world passes you by.
There are four large bedrooms. There is a quiet master suite with a queen bed on the first floor.A new bed with memory form was purchased this year. This is perfect spot for grand parents. It's quiet and private with a bathroom close by. The entire house is wired with WIFI and this bedroom has a new, flat screen TV with cable tv in it.
Upstairs, there is a second master bedroom with a queen bed. This bed also features a brand new memory foam mattress. A recently purchased flat screen television is ready for you with cable TV. There is a view of the inlet from the window.
The middle room features a single bed and a bunk bed and a trundle underneath. This room sleeps four and is typically 'the kids room'. This room is ready with cable tv and a DVD player.
Finally, the fourth bedroom contains two single beds with brand new mattresses. It is typically the quietest room in the house. It's the perfect hiding spot, if you 'just need to get away'.
Inside, there are hard wood floors. The living room has a view of the inlet, cathedral ceilings and is perfect for entertaining. The living room also contains a large, flat screen tv with a blue ray player, netflix, and the Xbox game system. There are two newly renovated, bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs). A new washer and dryer was also added this year. There is a full kitchen with all appliances including a microwave, dishwasher and a coffee maker. In the dining room, a beautiful, brand new table sits 10 with ease.
Outside, there is a deck off the living room with a great view, a Weber BBQ, and an outdoor shower. The ocean is 8 houses (253 steps) away from the front door. Walk along the inlet and you will be led to a bay beach which includes a park that contains jungle gyms, swings, a new tennis court and basketball hoop.

Just wanted to write about the fact that this was the nicest and cleanest beach house we have rented, ever. It's so nice to have large, modern bathrooms and a comfortable and contemporary living areas. Not what most are used to when renting a beach house. The view from the deck is beautiful and walk a few houses down the street for the fabulous LBI sunsets.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Had a more than comfortable stay at 14 inlet! My family has been renting in LBI for 20+ years and this house has been one of the best yet. The large sized dining table was perfect for big family dinners. Living room couches and bedroom furniture were both great to look at and extremely comfortable. When the kitchen gets updated this house will be tough to beat! Looking forward to spending more time there.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The home was immaculate and beautifully decorated. New, new, new, and it shows. Close to the beach and park for the kids. Great view of the bay. We had great time in Holgate! Can't wait to come back again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: I met my wife on LBI and have spent every summer there since. Our dream came true last year when we bought this house. We renovated the whole house and put in a lot of elbow grease this winter but we are happy now to call twhat was once a house, 'our home'. I hope for a week or two this summer, you will consider this your home too.
