We had a wonderful experience. The house was lovely with the picture window in the living room providing beautiful views of wildlife and the lake. The back deck is perfect for cookouts. The pontoon boat provided hours of fun and enjoyment on the water. We loved the two-story dock and swinging in the hammocks while sipping our cool beverages. We had many outdoor meals on the table on the dock. The fishing was great! We would highly recommend this to anyone and can't wait to return!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We had a great week at this place last year. Considering gas prices, it looks like we will be there this summer again. Kids absolutely enjoyed jumping of the dock and tubing on the water. Great value for the price. The owner is super friendly and professional guy.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I recently stayed here while fishing FLW, enjoyed my stay very much. The wind gently rocking the hammock on top of the dock was very relaxing. Very quite. The town of I believe Vilonia near by will set you back a few years in time. Good food and very pol;ite people. You are only 30-40 min from Greenville, S.C. lots of historty and things to do.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose Lavonia:
Lake Lanier was too CRAZY, and the lakes on I-20 were just too shallow. Our deep water location is perfect for the GIANT 2-story, two-slip dock that we had built before the home! Very private and super conveinent to I-85 and local shopping/restaurants.
