Perfect blend of location and peaceful quietude nestled in the heart of the quarter. The property is clean and highly atmospheric--perfectly situated. Loved our stay here, and really appreciated the added element of having a pair of bikes to use.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This is probably the most wonder location available! We had musicians in front of the condo quite often. We were a short block to Bourbon St. A small grocery store a block away. The owner is extremely well organized; pictures answering any question you might have; he recommends a wonderful taxi cab driver. The condo is well-appointed and clean. This would be a tough place to beat. Thank you, Lewyn.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Loved it. What else can I say? The location was amazing. Right in the quarter, close to the insanity and yet, other than the church bells, I didn't hear a thing. The place is adorable with a great courtyard so it felt bigger than it was. The owner very easy to deal with. All in all, seriously, a great place. Stay there! Only not when I want to....Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

we had never done a vacation rental like this--lewin was very easy to work with, taking lots of time to go through the process with me--everything was handled quickly and professionally, from my first inquiry, to the return of my deposit following our departure-- as to the condo itself, if you must have a 5 star suite with an 8 foot vanity, double sinks, and separate dressing room, this may not be for you--but, if you want an absolutely perfect location, clean, quiet, and a big comfortable bed, you will really enjoy this place--very private--has everything you need--well stocked grocery store (opened til 2am) less than 5 minutes walk down the street--easy walking distance to everything in the french quarter--I would stay here again, and will, if it's available next time I visit NOLARecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I just returned from a 5 night stay in the condo and loved everything about it! Location is perfect to experience the French Quarter. The condo is cozy, clean and comfortable. Noise not an issue and yet you are in the center of the action of the Quarter. Lewin was extremely gracious and responsive. Will be back and will definitely recommend this as the perfect place to stay for a visit to N'awlins and the Quarter.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I went for a 3 night stay and absolutely loved this condo. It's a little small and the bed isn't the most comfortable thing, but everything else was great and you can't beat the price for such a perfect location! It is right in the middle of everything, but tucked back far enough to not hear any noise. It is extremely quiet and the air conditioner keeps the place very comfortable (cold even) which is nice when it's humid and sticky out. My husband and I would just pop in and out to use the facilities and soak in a little air conditioning between sightseeing and eating. The bikes were great a great way to get around also. It was nice to be able to stop in, grab a bike, and go further out with less effort than walking. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be right in the middle of things without having to deal with a hotel. The condo was well stocked with everything you might need, and even better stocked than the house we rented on the beach this summer. We never even used the kitchen. Who wants to cook when there are tons of fabulous restaurants right outside your door? Loved it! And Lewin was great to work with!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is adorable and perfectly located in the heart of the French Quarter on Royal Street. The apartment was pretty, clean & very quiet (no street noise at all.) But step out into the street and you see, hear and smell all that is awesome about NOLA. Bed was super-comfortable. Owner was responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This is the perfect location for a stay in New Orleans! We found Royal Street to be the most beautiful street in the French Quarter. We enjoyed that there was only a short walk to many of the great sites, historical points, and restaurants of New Orleans from the condo. The condo was very clean, comfortable, safe and enjoyable. Highly recommend this condo for your stay in New Orleans!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We loved this condo. It was within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. Cafe Du Monde was near by. The condo itself was nice with a comfortable bed. Loved the brick walls especially in the shower. We could here the chimes of the cathedral which I missed once I got home. I thought the close proximity to everything was essential especially when a bathroom break was needed. Although this condo is close to everything it is in a quiet building. Loved stepping out onto Royal St. to hear the live music and visiting the art galleries and shops. Would recommend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Condo is clean, comfortable and close to many things New Orleans offers. Its best if you do not have a vehicle to park since parking is at a premium in this area of the quarter close to the unit. We lucked out and found a free spot within a few blocks and left the car alone for the weekend. Grocery store nearby if you want to eat in, as well as numerous quality restaurants We have been to New Orleans for many years but this French Quarter condo experience was very unique!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This little unit is located in the perfect spot. Everything is with in walking distance including a small corner market. Had a great time walking and riding the bikes through the French Quarter. Having on site laundry and the little corner market means you don't need to check any bags, just grab your carry on and go for 4 or 5 days; you will love it.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This studio is absolutely charming, and perfect for 2 people. As other reviewers have said, it's about two blocks from everything, but truly, your in the heart of everything when staying in this studio. We enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to venture to far to experience the magic of New Orleans!..Pretty much right outside your door is the nightlife on Bourbon Street, the beauty of St. Louis Cathedral, the tasty treats at Cafe Dumond, the super talented street musicians, and the fabulous music on Frenchmen St. If that doesnt please you, you can pick up dinner at Rouses nicely stocked supermarket, (just steps away from the studio) and have a private evening in this amazingly cozy studio.... Lewin, thanks so much for everything! Words cannot express how much we enjoyed ourselves!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I can't say enough about how perfect this place is. Albeit small, it is located in the ideal spot in the French Quarter. The bikes are VERY useful and a fun way to get out and about like a local. 2 blocks to Cafe Du Monde, 2 blocks to Bourbon, and you're right next to the Cathedral. There's nothing quite like hearing those bells when you're in the Quarter. PLUS, Lewin is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this place!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This little studio condo is a perfect getaway. So private even though you are right in the middle of the best place to be! Royal St. Is perfect for shopping, dining and absorbing the architecture. Coffee and beignets from Cafe du Monde are still hot if you pick up to enjoy in the court yard with the fountain cat! Lewin is fantastic to deal with, transaction was smooth. Neighbors are friendly. Bed is comfy. This place made our first trip to New Orleans perfect. Thanks Lewin! We look forward to returning soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I recently stayed for 10 days in this condo in the French Quarter for vacation/conference. Out of all the listing, this particular condo seemed to be the best fit in terms of price, location and amenities for our family. We enjoyed our time there so much that we were contemplating moving from DC to New Orleans we had such a fabulous time. It's a studio, but the furniture is arrange perfectly so that you don't feel cramped. I was even able to do my yoga without an issue! It's historic and charming and perfectly located within stumbling distant to Bourbon Street, or Frenchmen street, which is where the locals go for music. While some folks like to stay in a hotel during their stay, I'd much rather stay in a condo that offers a kitchen, laundry, wifi and bikes in the middle of the French Quarter. In fact, I was able to pack 10 days worth of clothes into a carry on bag to avoid fees and did laundry twice! When you stay here, you may notice a ghost tour gathering across the street each evening. We were curious why this happened and found out that the address is called the Occoron House. Take a ghost tour to find out the story, but know that we had no issues with any ghosts and quite frankly every location is haunted in New Orleans! Lewin is very responsive to inquiries and very professional. I highly recommend this location and I will definitely be staying here again next year when I'm back for another conference...and maybe another vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

In addition to it's amazing location on the most beautiful street in the French Quarter, the studio unit was well maintained and very clean. Both the kitchen and bathroom were equipped with all the essentials. The condo association was doing some work in the courtyard but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of a margarita while sitting at the table pictured! There is too much to do in New Orleans to watch much tv but the 52" flat screen was a nice touch (as was the bikes provided.) The transaction itself (payment, receipt and return of keys) was handled very efficiently and we would highly recommend this rental to any couple wishing to spend some time in this much loved city.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

One stay and we were sold. Lewin’s condo suits our travel style to a T. It’s clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and nicely equipped, but for us it’s all about the fabulous location. This small gem is nestled between two art galleries with the Cathedral practically in the backyard, perfectly situated for easy walking to the river, visiting numerous restaurants and evening hot spots, or window shopping on lovely Royal St. - quiet, but just steps away from the action. Parking is spendy and difficult to find in the Quarter, so forget the car. Take the ten-minute walk to the streetcar on Canal, or hop on the bikes and tour the Garden District. We even rode to the WWII Museum for a most interesting afternoon. We enjoyed the food, a walking tour of the Quarter, the food, taking the Algiers Ferry in the evening, music over on Frenchman, and did I mention the food? Johnny's Po Boys, Irene's, Commander's Palace, The Grapevine, lunch at Antoine's, muffulettas at Central Grocery, Muriel's, and you can't miss the piano bar at Pat O'Brien's. After our long days at Jazz Fest, the condo provided a cool and welcome respite. Can't wait to be there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
