What a beautiful setting. The spacious decks were perfect for reading or conversation with what must be one of the most spectacular views in the world (not to mention star gazing at night). The house is well layed out and very comfortable. It was a perfect place for our extended family to vacation and relax.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

We absolutely loved this house!!! We have stayed here for the last couple of years and have had a wonderful time. Our kids love the games and puzzles and most of all the beach. We loved sitting on the deck watching the lake and even saw eagles this year. Thanks for making your home a special place for us in Lake Tahoe. We will come back year after year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: We live on the coast of Northern California and are blessed to have two beautiful areas of the world to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Rubicon Bay:
We built this beautiful home in Rubicon Bay after vacationing here for many years. We picked this location for its lake views and quiet, serene setting. The sandy homeowners beach and pier are a major plus. We are also just minutes away from Emerald Bay, one of the most photographed places on earth. DL Bliss State Park is nearby with its day use beach and hiking trails as is Sugar Pine Point State Park. We love the outdoors and this place is perfect!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Everytime we stay here, we plan on doing a lot of things but then find our favorite thing to do is to rest and relax whether going to the beach or reading on the deck, or just admiring the view. It is a perfect home for entertaining. Guests love the great room to chat with friends or have a good meal but also love the quiet places in the house and on the decks to get away from it all. If you want though, there is so much to enjoy in the surrounding area. We are close to the nightlife of South Lake Tahoe, festivals around the lake, the quaint town of Tahoe City, Meeks Bay and the boat launch and lots of places for hiking, biking and enjoying Lake Tahoe.
