  House was beautiful! Well equipped for families with small children. ( Bring gates for toddlers, we brought 2) Beach cart was wonderful and double stoller too. Pizza stone in kitchen, great coffee maker and grinder! Close to zoo and aquarium, 5 min from drive on beach for camping or BBQing. Neighbors very friendly. Master bath double shower, whirlpool tub and walk in closet were a treat. Plenty of towels and linens. I would recommend this to everyone, and would stay again! Thank you Lisa

  We visited this past week and loved this property! We had a house full with 4 adults and 6 teens, we had plenty of space! The elevator is nice for getting your bags to each level and having several floors is great for privacy. It was quiet and peaceful with a quick walk to the beach. The house also has several balconies for individual use. The kitchen, baths and linens were very well stocked and we brought so little with us which was great considering how many teens we had to haul. I cannot wait to be able to go again this summer !! This is where we will be renting from here on out. Our trip was perfect and the owner was delightful to work with as well!

  This is a pretty home & we are actually in the house now and checking out Saturday the 9th. I rented the house for my family for the wk, there were 13 of us (including 4 kids and a baby) & we all have slept very comfortable, however, when we arrived to the house on the 2nd, the house was beyond dirty. The bathtubs had circles of dirt around it-- I thought they were stained, but after my sister let comet sit on it for 20 minutes, turns out we were actually just seeing someone else's dirt. There was hair in the tub, 3 used razors on the floor of the tub, used bars of soap in every bathroom in the bathtubs and on the sinks, the toilet bowl brush in the downstairs bathroom was turned over and resting in a smelly, brown fluid, there were urine rings and stains on the toilet seats, there was trash in the waste baskets, the house was not swept and had large dust/dirt particles all over it, the refrigerator and microwave were filthy.... needless to say as PRETTY as the house was, it was beyond filthy. We literally spent the first 2 1/2 hours of our Saturday cleaning and I think that is pretty ridiculous. Even the grill was so disgusting that we paid $60 from Pleasure Island rentals to rent a grill for the week. When you rent someone's home, you expect to have to clean the "routine things" like use clorox wipes on the toilet seats for your kids, you don't expect to scrub their home from top to bottom-- especially when the lease agreement states that you have to leave the house clean and check out by 1 lieu of a housekeeper coming to clean the house. We got to the house by roughly 2 pm and by the time we finished cleaning it was time to the feed the kids and we didn't even get to the beach until almost 7. We essentially lost an entire day of R&R because of the negligence of the house and that was frustrating. Things of note: the fridge/freezer takes a long time to cool down, do NOT bring frozen stuff day 1, you'll most likely have to toss or keep in cooler. We did both. The house is NOT ocean view, unless you go to the 4th floor and can see above the trees. It does however face in the direction of the ocean and is relaxing. The owner was great. She was attentive and responsive to all inquiries & at the last minute we needed to bring a dog along and she accommodated us fine. We did email her when we arrived about how filthy the house was and have yet to receive a response. As pretty as the house is, we won't rent again because of the cleanliness.

  Owner response: In response to the concerns about the condition of the home upon arrival, we are contracting with a professional cleaning service. Until this point we had relied on tenants to do the majority of cleaning. Clearly that is not working.

  Beautiful home to have a vacation! There were 7 adults in our group. We were all very comfortable and loved the house. (of course, it will easily accomodate more) The coffee pot is wonderful. We had everything we could want or need in the very well stocked kitchen. We walked to the beach every day. I am not sure how old this house is, but it 'smells' new. :-) The owners are very easy to work with. I really liked that we could choose our dates and not be forced into sat to sat. I highly recommend. We will stay here again in the future!

• Great Vacation House!

  My family of 4 and another family of 5 enjoyed this beach house last year during the 4th of July. The house is awesome! It exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The kids loved the bottom floor: it's a huge area perfect for playing. The deck off of the family room was perfect for dining and hanging out. And we really loved the view of the fireworks from the top floor deck!! We plan to book this house again, and highly recommend it to others. Great for multiple families!
